I didn't agree with the decisions of letting go Jason Taylor and Zach Thomas, however the defense is still at least decent, its cheap on the salary cap, it's young, and that just leaves many possibilities for future improvement... I do agree with you though, that the entire AFC East has gotten better, but I feel of improvements, the Dolphins has done the most.
dude, i'm a jets fan and i was wondering if you knew anything about chad pennington??

u guys will be lucky if he makes it three games before hurting himself again

if there was a vote for most injury prone QB he gets it every time

I know highschool QB's who throw the ball harder then him. Every game i have watched of Pennington I have never seen a hard thrown ball. I dont think Pennington will turn things around for the Dolphins.

He has the best NFL record completion percentage because he doesn't go long too much, he does a lot of short passes, but the Dolphins seems to have a team that can utilize that... We definitely don't have any big time WR's that can dominate the long ball.

Pennington will do exactly what they brought him in to do; provide experience for Henne. I got tons of respect for the Dolphins now. They have realized their failures over the past few seasons. They hit rock bottom but now have a solid plan in place. In 3-5 seasons they will be back to being a contender.

Yea but the problem is when they stack 8 in the box with guys lurking pennys holes will be dwindled. Your forgetting that over the past two years his accuracy has gone WAY down. Your not getting the 06 or pre shoulder injurys guy your getting the old still smart nonmobile not as accurate guy. Dont get me wrong I loved pennington when he was a Jet I wish him the best hes just damaged goods.

I love Pennington. He's got tons of heart and I respect him. But he just can't hack it anymore. As a Jet fan, it was sometimes painful to watch him play just because everything was thrown like a creampuff. It really takes away the deep threat in Ted Ginn cause he just can't throw the ball that far.

i still think he will be a good 2-3 year solution to make a pathway for the other Chad.
lol do you guys realize over the past few years we have had
Daunte Culpepper
Trent Green
Joey Harrington

and now we're looking to Chad Pennington to revive the franchise!

Pats got mercked. :]
Our team is so inconsistent, we play a close game with the Jets, get raped by the Cards, and own the Pats... Historically though we have always done good against the Pats, the Pats were on I believe a 21 game regular season winstreak before we broke it yesterday, and the last team to beat them before that, was also the Dolphins.

AFC East

1 - Bills
2 - Patriots
3 - Jets
4 - Dolphins

Yes, Miami outplayed New England and straight up dominated them yesterday, but there's no way I believe they are a better team. The Jets are mediocre at best, and I never bought into them as a WC team, even with Favre. Preseason, I picked Buffalo to take 2nd place behind NE and snag a WC, but that was before Brady got hurt. Also after the first few games the Bills look really good, and should win the division. Between the Jets and Dolphins, I give the nod to the Jets because they beat Miami head-to-head, and because I believe the Jets are a better team.

Inaccurate assumption, as the Dolphins lost a close game with the Jets, and the Patriots beat the Jets in a not so close game, than the Dolphins completely blew out the Patriots. The bills have beaten three teams that are all 1-3... It's just way too early to tell whats a fluke and what isn't... By week 6 we should have a better idea of what's really going down... I'm pretty sure Diego picks up its first win tonight and the AFC East Falls like this

1. Buffalo 3-0
2. New England 2-1
3. Jets/Dolphins 1-2

From my current outlook i'm thinking Patriots still take this division, and I really have no idea how any of the other 3 are gonna place, the one thing I can be sure of at this point is that The Dolphins, Jets, and Bills, are better teams this year, and the Patriots are a worst team than last season.

EDIT: Just a random fact i want to throw out with no real point is at total season TD's
1. Bill's 9TD
2. Dolphins 8TD
3. Patriots/Jets 4TD
