The quicktime trailer, the repetitive one with the bass music, looks like it's actually a series of shorter television ads. You don't suppose Eclipse plans on buying time on the American pb2x show...

Its another Timmy/Spyder look alike with a different operation design. I like how it is quiet but my Matrix... well lets just say if I shoot my gun next to that thing, the EGO will sound like a shotgun. I want to see inside it though. I can never really judge a gun untill I can dismantle it and look at it from the inside out. The Nerve I thought was nice but internally, its an Impulse, no more or less. If this thing truly doesn't use the basic ram/valve (poppet) combo, then I'll really be impressed. But its still no Matrix or Autococker.

A few people who have been able to take the Ego apart have said that it's actually closest to the Tribal or Cyborg.

I have a DM4, how much of an improvement can the DM5 be? I personally don't think the DM4 is as amazing as a number of people make it out to be.

the e2 has a "mode" for dry firing, where it will allow the gun to cycle but not open the valve. i do believe that is what he's talking about.

the stream of paint really doesnt sound consistant....sounds like theres sputters of speed, yet hard to maintain a real thorough stream...who knows

Just wondering about something. The vids are me shooting in fully NPPL legal mode. No bounce (TT Filtered), no ramp, pure 1-pull, 1-shot.
Now, the reason the rate of fire goes up and down, and there is gaps in the string is that the gun isn't helping me shoot at all. The gun is just doing exactly what I tell it to do. Any lack in speed is purely down to my slow fingers. As you can tell by the sound of the shots, there is absolutely tons of time that could be filled with additional shots, if only I could pull the trigger that fast. This really is a gun that out-performs the player.
So the question is, do you want to see vids with ramping, or Full auto, or NXL mode, that show the true potential of the gun, not just how Fast (or rather, slow) I am?

What do you think?

Jack

Yes, please.

Since this marker claims performance, let's see the potential and limitations of the marker, not the player.
