College Class AA @ NXL World Cup - Kissimmee, FL

Event: College Class AA @ NXL World Cup
Date: Sunday, November 6th
Location: NXL World Cup, Kissimmee, Florida
Price: $490 /line

Paint: 7 cases included with entry. Teams will receive their paint tickets at registration that may be redeemed for 4-Star, 5-Star, or Ultra Evil. Additional paint may be purchased directly from GI at $45/case. Teams may make their own arrangements for sponsor paint after the first 7 cases.

Times: Sunday - 12pm eastern

Early Bird Deadline: Thursday, October 27th
Slacker Deadline: Sunday, October 30th
Super Slacker (Final Registration) Deadline: Wednesday, November 2nd

Registration Link:
http://www.paintball-players.org/cgi...LID=2&EID=4915

Enrollment Verification:
Everyone participating in the event should bring their current student ID to the event, along with a government-issued photo ID (drivers license, passport, etc). A copy of your current class schedule wouldn't hurt either (doesn't need to be an official transcript).

ID Cards:
NCPA players do not need to purchase NXL ID cards to play college world cup. When your team goes to registration to check in, we will provide all rostered players and staff with NCPA ID cards. While the NCPA ID cards will be provided free of charge, you will still need to buy an NXL ID card if you play NXL. The NCPA ID will not be accepted for non-college games.

Field Layout: NXL World Cup

Eligible players are welcome to compete in both the NXL and NCPA at World Cup. More details will be added soon.

What paint will be available at the event and how can we purchase additional cases on top of the included 7?

We're working with vendors to lock down the details for you.

You will receive 7 paint tickets at registration that may be redeemed for GI 4-star, 5-star, or Ultra Evil based on your preference and availability. You may then purchase additional cases of GI/Evil paint at $45 directly from the manufacturer.

What time of day is the college competition sunday? And does it conflict with any other division time slots?

We plan on running games at noon on Sunday. This should reduce the chance of a conflict. The formal schedule may not be released until Saturday to make sure we know where the NXL lands on timing. Plan on having your team ready to go Sunday at noon.

Awesome event guys! My only complaint is the microfibers... can we please at least give medals? You don't even have to do a trophy. The banner is fine, but the microfiber is pretty much just going to be used as my new cup slot dick protector...

The idea behind the microfibers is you can hang them on your wall and they're more visible than a medal sitting on a desk might be.

If we're mistaken in thinking that's better, we'd certainly appreciate the feedback.

Thanks,
Chris

Hi Chris,

I guess for us as college students, and I do not know if it this way with other colleges but we do get trophy/medal cases in our recreation center, and wall space can be limited with everything they like to change around in the recreation center on a semester by semester basis. Just my personal thoughts, I've enjoyed the league greatly but want to be able to bring the bling to the school if we get a win haha.

Winning nationals and getting only a small micro was very disappointing. The year prior when we took second we at least got a big banner to hang up. I would love to get something more than a micro. Posing for pictures with a tiny micro is not nearly as fun as holding a big trophy. The regional events here in Texas seem to always try to top each other and give out the biggest trophy possible, and it makes it a lot of fun for everyone.
