The SL3 isn't a monster leap over the reg in the 94, it's a bit better, but I wouldn't get overly excited about the difference if that and eportal are the deal maker/breaker. It can shoot a bit deeper into the tank, but unless you run to empty lots you likely won't notice.
The tear down is a bit easier than the 94's reg though.

The 94 can use the SLS board (which can be purchased from PE)
The reg can also be purchased.

That all said, the SLS is great marker and I'm not trying to deter you at all. Just give you a full perspective as an owner of both.

If you want the SLS by all means do it.

Hmmm. I did not know that. That is definitely interesting. Thank you. Hmm. I love the body style of the 94 and CLS I think the most. I am going to have to get a board. That actually makes me excited. Lol.

I had planned on putting one in both my 94 and Vicious Ego9, but really am not sure I can justify the price yet...

When does your first tournament of the season take place? I wish we lived somewhere close enough to play in a series. They are having a 1v1 series at our field here and I havent been able to make it out. I feel like I would use a crap ton more paint than what is needed for a 1v1. Lol. I LOVE to just shoot though.

We had a 3 Man last month, and may be going to the Vicious Series in starting in May, but it's not looking like we'll have enough veteran bodies to make the trip to Omaha.

That sounds like it could be fun. How many tournaments are in the vicious series? It is tough to get anyone organized here for a tournament. We are playing in Austin and I recruited one Austin player and an airmen stationed at the base here for a throw together. Should be fun though!

I guess that makes sense, seeing as now I am looking at the pic on a computer and not an Iphone. Seems to me it would get in my peripheral vision but I would have to try it. I have expressed to the wife that I want to get a goCamera to do stuff like this. I would also put it on the headstock of my bass while I play then dub someone good over me
