Vice drains battery when turned off?

I can put a new Duracell pro cell battery in the vice after a day of play, let it sit a week, use it for a case or two, then go to use if before my next week and its dead. So I roughly get a battery to last in my gun for two weeks and 1 use. And no, I am not leaving the gun on. And it has a stock board on it.

Sorry for the rough post, I'm doing it from my phone. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Make sure your board is clean and nothing is shorting the board out on the frame. Use rubbing alcohol.

This seems to be an intermittent problem with Tadao boards. First check to make sure you don't have a short. Make sure you don't have wires that are pinched or that might cause a short...if so get a new harness. Consider sending the board into Tadao for a flash.

make experiment - after day playing deattach an eye harhess from board and leave for week.
If battery will drained after - some board shortage (if not - an eye/eye harness shortage)

gl, bro!

lmk how it goes

I did this and left it for a week and the battery did not drain. I checked all the wires and none are cut or exposed. Could some piece of they eye be shorting out on the body? Im stumped...

At least now it is clear - eye(harnes) need to be raplaced|fixed

btw, on my Vice was problem with an eye - it was badly soldered to microboard (where eye located). So it was malfunction, not shortage.

I guess it some paint or smthg on the eye board make some shortage.
Try to deattach eyes and gently wipe out board (and connectors too) around by cotton stick with some alcohol on it. Let it dry for few minutes and attach back.

yes it could.
what can I advice, before eye+harness replacing for new?

1. deattach eye's microboards and eye's haress from marker board and from each other
2. rinse eye's microboards in the vodka (or medical spirit) - put in apropriate container and shake em well for a minute or so
3. leave to dry for couple hours
4. take transparent nail polish laquering and cover all eye' microboard, except eye diode top and electronic pins
5. dry. attach. test

main idea here is to isolate electronic from grounding

gl!
