alias bolt problem???

hey guys
just had a question of about my alias
once i air up my alias i pull the trigger and it fires once but the bolt does not return back, instead it locks up in the front, i can try to pull it back but there is a ton of pressure pushing it forward.
After the 1st shot, every time i pull the trigger it makes a "puffing" sound
any ideas how to fix it???
i lubed everything including the ram, lpr, reg, u name it
my local proshop guy didn't know how to fix it and said the hoses inside might be switched but i'm not quite sure
Dwell = 12
LPR = 80
Thank you so much guys

Replace the ram orings and lube with dow55, lower your dwell to 8ms.

Also make sure the hose going to the front of the ram isn't pinched.

did air release when you removed the ram cap?

The regs being hard to turn when aired up is pretty normall. though you might wanna reset both regs just to rule them out.

edit and just for the hell of it make sure you hoses are going to were there suppose to be, last pic in link below will show you.

Sounds like your solenoid isn't venting properly...

I can't tell you I'm 100% sure without trying a different solenoid in the gun first. Based off your description of the problem I would try a different solenoid, the unfortunate part of this is that the solenoid is one of the most expensive parts and most people don't have a spare laying around.

lol yep
are you supposed tighten the adjustable ram cap or loosen it when you shoot it?
because once i unscrewed the ram cap, the bolt sprung back(after taking out the tank of course).
was wondering if shooting my alias with the ram cap slight loose would fix it...highly doubt it though lol

Do you have a stock (non-adjustable) ram cap? I'm considering the possibility that the problem is the ram cap opposed to the solenoid.

I just want to rule out the possibility of the cap being an issue.

with air going to the gun, push the little red button on the noid a few times. The noid could simply be sticking.

It's on the same side as the wires provided you have the stock Humphrey solenoid.
