dang nice gun
I was also thinking about putting a pressure gauge on my phantom
did you just drill into the valve?
what kind is it; dye? 750 psi?
also how do u like the boomer?
you get it from dye?
is it worth the money?

thanks!
yes ,I drilled and tapped the rear of the valve - thought of doing the vert.asa but everyone has the there. Plus it's handy to see what the valve pressure input is.32 deg. - 8.00 my cost-dye's are nice but I can get 3 32's for the same cost
ordered the barrel thru Youngblood himself -He's our rep in this area.
Great barrel -not sure if it's worth the money but it gives me a smaller bore size than stock-plus it's great in the "poser" value

i hope u dont mind me copying your idea
maybe ill put it on the side of the valve
what pressure range did you get it?
also is there anything i should know on how to do this?
bit size?
and lastly does the gauge just screw in or do you need to seal it afterwards?

Don't mind a bit 8-))
use the drill size specified by the tap
1/8"NPT is the thread size you need
I used a 0-1200 psi and set it at 800 and redmarked the gauge face over 900psi so I can know if I'm shooting hot
If you look real hard at the rear of the valve you can still the center from when it was made.Center punch it and predrill w/ a 1/8" bit to make it easier. Then drill to the size recomended by your tap- it varies from maker to maker. Tap the hole so you have at least 2/3rds of the gauges male threaded end into the valve. I used red loc-tite to secure and seal it. It took me about 10 mins to do this mod once I had all the tools collected up.
Tools needed
drill press - you can use a hand drill if your careful and good
1/8"NPT tap
1/8" drill bit
drill bit spec'ed by tap for hole
center punch
gauge
loctite

1/8"NPT is the size of the tap that you need. Look on the package for the drill size needed for this tap

My skyball phantom will be an urban camo righthand feed with stock barrel, 12 vt rev, and a 16 oz stub off of a bottomline. It may not be as expensive, but I like it.

Can't wait to meet you and the rest of the team(s) up there Crash,

So far there are 11 of us from www.pumpplayers.com , we are going to have a team in the rookie division and one in the novice divison. Hopefully, I'll get another pump player here in connecticut for a 3 man pump team at a local tournament next weekend *crosses fingers*

Supposed to be another 2 pump teams coming from Ottawa, Ontario for Skyball. I doubt they're in the PPIG. Team names will probably be either OU812 and/or Wet Paint.

Good Luck guys.

Maybe, I think they were at skyball last year or the year before as well. It seems to be a regular ritual for them to go.

I saw OU812 on the team list, didn't know they would be playing pump also.....too damn cool! We get enough teams to show up, they might just put the pump class back into there next year.
