Thinking of selling my DCSL-1

Just as the title suggests...... I'm thinking of selling the famous (or infamous) DCSL-1 04 Viking.

I think this marker was built by Murder Hearts, then was sold to a gentleman in Texas, whom I purchased it from.

My wife and I welcomed our second child into our lives 3 weeks ago, and time is at a premium. I still have my stock 04 Viking (never use it), but it seams a crime to let this outstanding piece sit in my gun bag.

Since I've owner her, I have had nothing but EXCELLENCE !!!! Not only from the marker but frm AKA as well. Consistency, looks, shoots ropes, and gets "eyed" from just about everyone who comes in contact with it.

WHAT DO YOU GUYS THINK ????

I met Cody from JMJ at the XPSL tournament in So.Cal earlier this year. He saw the gun and was VERY familiar with it. He told me it would cost $1300.00 to build another one like it.......

Is there much interest in "one off" markers..... or has the world turned to the mass production of Ego's and Shockers ......

Should I sell her, or just hoard this fine piece of work to my greedy self ????

I'd offer my Infamous timmy in sig + some cash. I wanted this thing when it was up for trade by MH and I'd still love to get my hands on it. PM me if you are intersted.

There'll always be some tool out there that'll insult you by offering a Dynasty Shocker or something, but rest assured--the draw of unique things is still alive and well.

Especially if it's AKA.

If you did sell it IDK how much you could get for it. Im not familiar with that gun specificly, but the way the AKA market is right now you probably couldnt get more than $1200 for it (maybe a little more If you find the right buyer).

I'd say around 1000 is what you would get for it...but you never know...all it takes is the right buyer...you should see the offers i get on the Joker viking and thats not even for sale...

Thanks guys for the replies....... I guess I should post some pics so that the people who don't know what the DCSL-1 looks like will be able to check her out. The little icon at the bottom of my PBNation page says the I cannot post attachments..... must be because I havent given them some remedial amount of $$$. Hmmm..... Maybe I'll put them on Putfile.com.

I was thinking that since JMJ isn't doing anything "paintball" related right now, that the price of a Streamline milled Vike might be holding up a bit better than a non-JMJ milled marker...... maybe not. Who knows !!!!

I'll get some pics up this week at putfile.com for your viewing pleasure....... Oh BTW, that Joker gun is INSANE !!!!!

If it is just sitting there doing nothing, I'd sell it. But don't expect to sell high, custom AKA markers are going low. I've seen custom 04s in the low $700s lately. There is always the off chance that you can find a buyer who will pay a premium, but its rare. These guns aren't getting any newer.
