Guys,

I am looking at offering a league night for new players / rentals. All players will use rental guns. Would be run very similiar to the DBS League night we are starting... Here is some more info:

Cost: $119.95

What you get:
4 weeks of play over 8 weeks (group would play every other week).
Includes all field fees & paintballs needed.

This would be designed to get new players active in playing each week. Would include basic coaching provided by the DBS staff.

What I am looking for with this post:
For people to provide feedback, inquire about signing up, and to give some basic info so you guys can help spread the word about what I'm trying to do!

Great idea. Perhaps a spin off from this, if it is successful might be a bring your own mech semi. I imagine that a number of people with Tippmanns and Spyders would love to play in something like this, but use their own markers.

I am trying to figure all this "League" stuff out. Basically I will run a league for any group of 20 players of any type. Just need to make all the numbers work. Might even do a "pump league" if people wanted.

Honestly, if anyone can round up 10-20 players for any level of play and wants to play every other week, every week, every third week, WHATEVER, let me know and I will see what I can work out. I would love to help everyone out and fill up the Indoor during down time.

I get what you are saying Danny. I wish that I could do this league, but I see where you want to get newbies into the idea of tournament ball, and I have a bit of experience. It's a shame that I can't get my wife and daughter to play, as the wife has a mech, and I think that my daughter would really like the idea of playing a tournament, even though she has an electro.

It sounds like it would be, but that requires people to show up and play. Not sure how many people are showing up when they do a pump night, but I don't think that they get as many as Dan Bonebrake had when he had his pump night a couple of weeks ago, 79 or so.

I wish! LOL. We had like 4 pump guys out tonight... Pump night is hit and miss. Some will have 20+ others will be like 5 players!

Yeah, which sucks. People say do a pump thing all of the time, but not enough will commit to making it a regular thing. I think that the pump night was supposed to be like every other Friday, but kind of fell off. You brought it back, but it just isn't something that you can regularly schedule, because people just won't commit to it.

Just a question, the $120 only covers the 4 weeks of play correct? If teams come out to practice on an off week they would need to pay field\air\rental fees, of course for practice they would pay for their own paint.

The league night fee would include all league night play, but not anything additional (like if you choose to come play another time).
