So how do I avoid that paintery look I started to get in that photo? Never had it happen on a single exposure. I may just be being overly critical.

I just realized that it would actually be cheaper to enroll at my school for 1 semester and buy cs6 master at the $90 student rate, than it would be to buy cs6 straight from Adobe.

So I'm doing the Cola Warrior this weekend.
Driving up tomorrow and running it Saturday.
Event goes as follows:
Run pretty hard obstacle course.
Shove 5 Peeps down.
Run. 1/2 mile
Shoot 5 steel pistol plates at 25m
Shoot 8 rifle plates between 50-300m
Chug 6 carbonated beverages (72oz total)
Each obstacle not completed 5 minute penalty. Each Peep not eaten 5 minute penalty. Each target not shot 5 minute penalty. Each coke not chugged 5 minute penalty. If you throw up at any time each is a 5 minute penalty.
Winner will be person with fastest time.
ITEMS NEEDED: 6 carbonated beverages, Rifle, Pistol, at least 2 mags of ammo for each, but bring more if you are a bad shot.
He just got hired on by a studio out here in Seattle that's looking for a bunch of photographers just for product shots, and told me about a couple of studios looking for photographers. Lowest starting is like $25 an hour. Definitely keeping my fingers crossed for something.

So I have an opportunity to shoot with another photographer at a triathlon. I'd be paid a little up front and get a cut of what sells. The dudes pics are terrible though, should I even bother? It'd be great for networking, but I'm scared of lumping myself with a bad photographer.
Any advice?

How is this even a question? Who cares who you shoot with, you get the opportunity to network and make some money. If I had gear, I'd jump on this chance without hesitation.
