another thing, if they're in a position within the appropriate dept, then it is reasonably assumed, that they have some idea of what rules and reg's govern their respective dept's. so, how should it take so long, for someone to impart that knowledge, if reasonable effort is made by said staff member?
"running a retail store is expensive and difficult if you decide to have a pro shop on premise. At this point you not only have a big stack of bills but you have the headache of basically running a secondary business, you need someone to clean the field, take care of the bunkers, referee/police safety, maintain high pressure air filling stations, maintain and service rental markers AND run a retail shop. this is a little far off, from what i am trying to pitch to churches/youth centers.

I really regret posting in this thread at this point.....

Well if they aren't making you happy maybe you should start new church. When it opens up, you should probably paint this on the ceiling:

Sounds to me that you've already had yer resolution.
If you wanted to play on my land and I decide "No" then there is no need for me to speak to you again.
If I refuse to speak to you, then common sense should tell you that it ain't gonna happen.
Just wake up and smell the coffee.
Or at least have a little common sense and give up on trying to play paintball on somone else's land.

OP, how old are you?
If you are over 16 and cannot understand what everyone is trying to tell you.....
Please do not EVER reproduce, we don't need any more sponges running around in society.
The church owes you no explanation as to why they said no. It is their land, they said no. THE END. Do you remember being younger and when asking your mother, "why?" and she said because I said, "no, no means no." She was your mother and didnt have to explain anything. Same principle only dealing with someone elses property.
You're some whiney little punk that wants to play paintball and looking for a cheap way to do it. While retaining some form of authority as well to make yourself feel better about your mundane life. Put this much effort into furthering your education and it will possibly pay off in the end with you getting a better job. Which would then allow you to play paintball when and where you want.

What kind of person would go up to a church and ask to play paintball? Im fine with the churches just setting up because they want to. But why would the church that allowed you to play clean it all up unless you payed? Either go find another place or do it yourself.

because the churches would expect me to explain my reasons for contacting them, which is righful to do so. however, i AM NOT a child, who is subjected to being forced to accept an unsubstantiated refusal, because guess what? i CAN COMPREHEND a more detailed explanation, ok?and so, i shouldn't be treated unequally so, by another party. it's called ACTUAL RESPECT, which is supposed to be granted to ALL parties, involved.

I just plugged this post in a writing sample analyzer. You scored a 7.56 grade level. I just thought you should be aware.

Maybe because they have seen your old posts and realize you are a major liability to them?
How is this old post?
https://www.pbnation.com/showthread.php?t=3288358
Where you said "i'm just hoping that the hosting facility won't really worry too much about insurance."
Or how about "if i were under normal financial circumstances, then i would be worried about getting sued, but im in debt already, and so im not worried about more debt."
How about this post where he wants to make a field so cheap, it is borderline reckless?
https://www.pbnation.com/showthread.p...=#post53124785
All he is, is just an outlaw paintballer and a mooch.

here's something about me, and my sense of personal accountability for consequences of my actions; i could have sued a construction company, when i got hurt on the job, but guess what? i can actually keep my mouth shut, as i'm sure so can a lot of others here, as well as elsewhere. so, what valid excuse would a church/youth center have, at that point? no, "because you're all going to sue us", is NOT a well-thought out reason to not give someone the basic respect, of a non-BS answer, to someone's inquiry.

I'm sure the church's lawyer(s) would tend to disagree with you there.
You know what, it is because God said they can't do it! It is in the bible, look it up .

I like how the OP acts as if he is owed a explanation simply because he is "an adult." Nobody owes you anything, if nobody wants to give you a straight forward reason as to why it's not going to happen, they don't have to. Ever think that maybe they just don't want to hurt your feelings? or waste your time with a proposal that they already plan on saying "no" to?

well, that's how you, and too many others think. however, i was taught that when you respect someone enough, to pay attention when they speak to you, then you treat them just as badly, when they fail to acknowledge that respect that was given to them, and return it in kind.

So you are essentially saying you believe it would be more respectful of them to waste your time with a proposal they plan on saying no to?
You sir have a very skewed view on what respect is.
If you are going to pull out the respect card, perhaps you should respect the decision of your local church and leave them alone about playing paintball on their property.

OP is a broken record.
Just because you were taught one way does NOT mean other people were taught/live that way themselves. No amount of complaining on an internet forum about paintball will get a church to treat you as you believe you should be treated. At this point, you're only beating a dead horse.
