Silly stuff...

yuik, just give it up. A lot of guns if broken in and properly tuned can get really good consistancy.

watch push. Rocky gets three acurate readings off his old school angel. That was 2000 and now its 2008 so i think they would of figured it out by now lol.

It is possible to get fairly consistent readings with amazing paint
however what the threadstarter is trying to say is 1. chrono's are inaccurate, therefore whatever velocity claim you might have may be off 2. in soo many reviews and the suchlike, people claim to get +/- 2 (3,4) with a long string which often is just not true. With a properly tuned, broken in gun with good paint to bore match and amazing paint, it's possible to get +/- a few, but it's not that easy

This weekend, I will take what ever gun I have with me that day with a CP Reg, and will give you reading of at least +/- 5. I will make a video over a big red chrono, just to end your arguing.

CP regs really arent that great so if you can get a consitant reading with one of those you should be able to with many other guns. lol

Thats whats I'm saying. Alot of regs are capable of doing +/- 5. If you can tune and maintain your gun its not a problem. Ill do it with a different reg too on a different gun.

I never have seen these amazing results people post up about.

I would like to see a video of these +/-1 consistencies.

Yuik and anyone else, if you've never seen these results, you just don't take care of your gun. ANY (well I guess not most beginner guns) gun can be super consistent ( +/-5 or less) as long as they are properly tuned. If you tech your gun like you're supposed to, it's pretty common to see a +/-5 fps consistency. Honestly thats pretty bad IMO. One ball might be going 285 and then the next 275 and then the next 280. Technically thats all your asking for and to my standards thats pretty bad. My PM can easily get +/- 3 to 4 as long as I lube my o-ring before I play everytime (but its a matrix so you're supposed to anyways) and lube the regs once a month.

Just do what the manual recommends and you can get the consistency that you guys think is so impossible.

There is more to consistency than lubrication. Believe me, when I use to have a dm, I lubed it every time I went and played, and it was never that consistent.

my pmr got 292 in 4 shots in a row. the next shot went to 295
i think guns can be more consistant than +-5

its like always like +-2 or 3 fps

cause you didn't tune the lpr and dwell properly and youprobably overlubed it

No, I knew how to lube it correctly, and correctly set it up.

It was 3 years ago, I don't remember. I do remember that it was definitely not +/- 5. Probably more like +/- 10.

Whats wrong with the avy?

btw "lalz" at your username.
