Beaches of Normandy Scenario Event - July 13th, 14th and 15th, 2012
On June 6, 1944 over 160,000 Allied troops landed along a 50-mile stretch of heavily-fortified French coastline to fight the Axis forces on the beaches of Normandy, France. What followed was one of the most epic battles in history....
The Beaches of Normandy is our largest scenario event of the year complete with real explosions during the game, special missions and a brand new expansion to our playing field. Join us this July for the Beaches of Normandy Scenario Event as the Allied forces assault the Axis held beach head from their landing craft, and try to establish a foothold in northern France....

Friday July 13th:
Noon - Gate opens for campers
3:00pm - Registration, paint sales, air fills and chronograph stations open
3:00pm to 9:30pm - Pick-up games/Open Play
9:30pm to 11:30pm - Night Game
Saturday July 14th:
7:00am - Registration, paint sales, air fills and chronograph stations open
9:00am - Allied Team Meeting @ Allied HQ
9:00am - Axis Team Meeting @ Axis HQ
9:30am - Game Briefing (You should be ready to play by this time)
10:00am to 1:00pm - Game On
1:00pm to 2:30pm - Lunch Break (Hot food available at pro-shop)
2:30pm to 5:30pm - Game On
5:30pm to 9:30pm - Dinner Break
9:30pm to 11:30pm - Night Game

Awards ceremony immediately following Final Battle

$55 per player if pre-registered by July 1st
$70 per player after July 1st (Walk-ons are welcome day of event)

Full equipment rental (gun, mask, tank, pack) - $7 per day
Sniper Upgrade w/full equipment rental - $12 per day

Rocket Launchers, Tanks and Non-Standard Paintball Equipment
All home made or manufactured grenade launchers, rocket launchers, grenades, mortars, paintball tanks, etc. must be approved by the scenario master prior to play. Our scenario master can be reached through email at info@whiteriverpaintball.com.

__________________ White River Paintball Field is over 100 acres of urban, woodsball and scenario paintball, located in the Indianapolis, Indiana metro area. WRP also features an on-site pro-shop, 10 acre camping area, epic scenario events and over a dozen playing fields including multiple aircraft, two-story towers, multi-acre city, forts, military vehicles, jungle huts, deep woods and more!

Ladies and Gentleman, Modern Warrior was just this past weekend but I am already excited for Beaches Of Normandy 2012...which is only 106 days away.
Karl Mauzy led the Loyalist Faction to a win and has been asked to come back to lead the Axis Army. Paul Voodoo Sojka was Del Hamaker's XO in Modern Warrior and has stepped up to the plate to lead the Allied Forces.

For anyone who has not made up their mind yet which side they want to be on, the choice is very simple. If you want to win join the Axis Powers, if you want to do the opposite of winning join the Allied team.
Either way, sign up now as this is not a game you will want to miss.
Win, Lose, or Draw you'll have a great time spending the weekend playing with some great people on both sides.

D-Day is the name given to the landing of 160,000 Allied troops in Normandy, France, on June 6, 1944. The success of the invasion of Normandy was really the beginning of the end for Nazi Germany. The invasion, also called “Operation Overlord,” involved five separate landings by American, British, and Canadian troops and was commanded by American General Dwight D. Eisenhower. Stiff German resistance resulted in nearly 10,000 Allied casualties, but the Germans were ultimately unable to repel the Allied forces. Although German resistance continued even after all five beachheads were taken, they had too few troops in the area to be effective. By August 1944, all of Northern France was under Allied control as Eisenhower began to prepare for the invasion of Germany.
Allies! We will be victorious! It will not be easy, it will be challenging. But in the end, we will do what needs to be done...for the well-being of the new world!!! ALLIES!
