apparently no one will touch the A1 barrels, the OD is too thin and they become too weak, from what i have read from most freak'ers on MCB

From some of his statements, he seems to be able to do A1 barrels.

I can do them all

Rule of thumb.....
You dont want to use an insert larger than the stock bore size.

so .695 gives you the full spectrum, but when was the last time you used a .691? do you need it that big?

Stanchy bored one of my A1 backs (a .689), doesn't seem thin/weak at all.

I agree, I have one freak bored, and it seems fine.

I would suggest having the largest bore done (.695) so that way you have the flexibility to use all of the inserts.
