I'm hoping to arrange a boondoggle to the main land so I can do my first scenario game.

This will be my first LL as well as my first scenario game. I'm glad I found this thread. I never would have thought to pick up a camelbak or something of the sort. I'm usually pretty good about staying properly hydrated, but would rather not risk anything.

How does the game play itself work? Like... specifically, are their times for each game? Approx. what are they? I see a LOT of information on the website, I'd just like to figure out how many hours are generally spent on the field versus staging/hotel/camping area..

Day long events for sat and sun (start at 8:00? I think) run until a supper break at 5ish. Night game sat night. You can come/go as you please, but most people stay the whole day. Re-insertions every 15 min (correct me if i'm wrong) allow continuous play for the entire game time even if you get shot.

When the game is on, it is ON! play is constent, if yu get shot you go back to your base and wait for a re-insertion 'window', then back to play. So your time on the feild is based on how fast you can get back, reload, and clean up. Some players bring a bag with extra paint/pods, WATER, and gog cleaner to the base while most head back to the staging area. So your time on feild is dictated by how hard core you want to be.

no such thing as a paintball sniper.. after a certain distance it is just luck imho.
I'd have to strongly disagree. Paintball snipers are out there, and there will be plenty at Living Legends.
To validate my post, my advice to anyone for their first time at Living Legends, just play. Don't worry about winning the game, the politics, the drama, whatever, just get out there and shoot some people. Also, drink lots of water, lots and lots of water. Eat. If all you do is drink water and you don't eat, you're gonna have a bad time. I know that's what I did last year. Once you think you've had enough water, drink more. If you're running a vest, get a hydration pouch and bladder unless it has a built in pouch, just get the bladder. If you're using a pod pack, get a camel back. If you don't, you're gonna have a bad time.

I got heat exhaustion last year from drinking waayyy to much on the Ice luge friday night! I would avoid the Sauce or minimize it,followed by lots of water otherwise you get carried off the field! but the ice packs were Niiicce!
also how does the air thing work, I have a couple of different setups with different tanks on them(attached to gun, not screw offs).... do i need to buy the air for both setups?
All non-assisted pump markers may chrono up to 300 feet per second, while all others are limited to 280 feet per second. Any fire mode is allowed. However,all markers, including R/Ts, must be capped at 13 balls per second IN ALL MODES INCLUDING SEMI-AUTO MODE

13 BPS any mode. Yes you will probably need to buy air for both setups if the tank can't be screwed off.
