question about valve

Does anyone know about how long the pin is on the valve?
I wrote a thread a little while ago about the pin breaking off on the hammer.hammer pin
But know I'm looking down the back of my gun at the back of the valve and it just seemed different but it's probally just me.

it should be long enugh so when u psuh the cocking rod, u can feel the resistance of the valve spring

I'll have to wait for evil to send me a new hammer. The hammer pin snapped off today as I was firing. I'm just tring to figure out why. I'm thinking maybe something else is wrong. Then again it could be just a freak thing and I'm just being paranoid.

Is your men a Oldr model or what? I had the first model and my hammer pim proke too....I thought they fixed that...

I have the newer omen (black trigger, serial # 31......)
I haven't heard about anyone elses breaking yet. I'm glad I'm not alone. (LOL) Did they send you out the replacement or did you send it in? I'm hoping there are no more problems after this.

They sent me a replacement...it's very easy to install....

We had one break, too.
There is some effort to go to a bigger pin, but the striker will have to have the hole enlarged to accomodate it.

How is this done? Can I buy a different hammer?
