Evil Omen wins $6000

So, I posted a picture of my Omen up in the picture thread. It's nothing that special, but it certainly helped my team win six grand at the Memphis Indoor. My team mates might use DM4's and other guns that cost 4 times as much, but my Omen kept up with all of them.

Busted. I posted a clarification in the picture thread. In all fairness, it does have a few upgrades: Scion tank, PDP Chip, Odyssey Low Rise, and Pipe.

What I don't understand TrailerParkMark is this.
If you are running the Scion, do you also use the Detonator, or is that the evil gas thru?
To my understanding you do not need an inline reg with the Scion.
The only reason I ask is I just recently acquired the Scion myself.
If you are using the Detonator, aren't you hampering it's refresh rate by only supplying it with the maximum output of 500 psi of the Scion?
Seems redundant to me.
Can you clarify your set-up for me please?

Mark bought the Scion at the Memphis Indoor and played with it right away. He might not have had time to set it up differently.

I just recieved my Scion and have not even aired it up yet.
I am waiting on a new marker to attach it to, which should be available soon.
As I said, with the Scion, it is my understanding I do not need an inline regulator and I had not intended on using one.
If Mark used his omen with the scion and detonator, I have only one thing to say.
The Scion must have an unbelievable flow rate.
As I mentioned, I have not used my Scion yet, but I bought it based on the technical claims of the reg itself, it's many features(on/off, mini rail, stand alone system) and my faith in PMI.

Redeye doesn't come around much anymore. He used to come to the PMI board but doesn't anymore. Anyway here is a link so you can see a pic of the Evo.

The pic is at the bottom almost. Says Redeye so ya can't miss it.

Ancient thread, but point of note. The scion can run well over 500psi if you change the gauge. when P8NTBALL magazine rated HPA's the scion won first place over all contenders in the adjustable reg category. (Crossfire won for fixed) They ran it at about 800psi output after changing the gauge. Evil went for a lower scale gauge for accuracy in adjustments only. It can go higher but the stock gauge will bust or stick at 500psi.

But regardless the Omen actually runs incredibly well with 450 psi input from the Scion. Then, having the detonator running as well means that you have a super accurate marker that does not ever have any real velocity spikes but is supplied with just enough air so as not to hamper recharge rates.
