alright here's the rant... *copied from fb*

Psp announced they were taking the top 16 teams. Then as of this morning at 10am they changed it to top 12. We are ranked 12. They call us saying you guys have 20 minutes to get on the field so we all hurry as fast as we can and buy paint and get our **** over there. As soon as we are about to get on the field they tell us we aren't playing anymore. For some reason they took the 14th, and the 16th place teams over us. Even the computer said we were in but lane said it was too late. Stupid **** all weekend. Flooded field, mesh falling down, and other teams coaching illegally and not getting penalized. Jesters were coaching behind the start gate, and under the rope right along side the mesh. Also we 4-0'd boom but they were calling it a 4-1. The point shouldn't have counted because they got two majors and they didn't have anyone to tag the flag in. They told us they would revert the score and make it 4-0, but since they didn't, our score differential was lowered and we got stuck in 12th.

I fully support Skip and his decision. I've known the guy for a while and he's great. He isn't someone who would do this to prevent the rest from shooting, he was doing well within his right as a photographer. People don't seem to understand that though.
Half of the people posting are uneducated, hence why I haven't posted because:
A) I do not know the full details of the story, and am not going to assume speculations
B) I do not know enough about copyright laws in order to conduct a conversation

From my knowledge, I don't. Regardless if it were an honest mistake or not, a business should know it's law on copyright and what procedures they have to go through

I support the fact that he should implement a new acceptance for PSP Photographers. I do not accept, nor will any other sane photographer, the terms he is laying before everyone. Owning full rights, come on. That will never happen.

I do not like the fact that he also acts like a child, rather than being a professional who is suppose to run a league.
What he did was wrong, whether it was intentional or not, a proper businessman should know his rights, and laws and what not to do. No such thing as an honest mistake in the law.


That being said, 9/10 chance I will never shoot PSP again (if the terms apply, and if I can even get accepted). Good chance I am going to shoot NPPL instead, and CXBL.
