All around good
All around fun, shish kabobs were flame, pits got awkward when the team we were playing hopped in the same pit as us lol and who ever was shooting that pink or red fill I still got a stain on my hand from it. It ran well and Janssen didn't have to choke any one.

Well I dont know what kind of hand soap or laundry detergent you are using but my white/greyish jerseys with my pink paint from bunker rub on it as well as my hands came right out.

I did not play, but a few thoughts:
- Is it possible to add netting to the non-pit side of the field? This would allow for more spectators and PSP-style coaching from behind the net.
- I agree with the post above for an entrance between the fields to ease entry and remove distractions.
- having some sort of staging areas for teams would be great, but not required. Something like covered picnic tables, about 20-30, enough for each team that plays. That way teams have an area for equipment that is protected from the elements. I know that a lot of layers bring their own tents, but many do not.

Well, these events are getting better throughout the year. We actually had toilets by our fields this time, and the pits were improved.
We suffered a couple of questionable calls in our last 2 matches, but we didn't play up to our potential anyways, so it didn't affect much. Was still frustrating.
I know it's VERY unlikely to get fixed/change, but the field being sloped is kind of annoying. On one end you can drop shots in, but on the other end, they just sail high. Field 2 (the white field) is much more level.
There are a lot of awesome events later this month, so I'm not sure if we'll be back for #5, but I'm pretty sure RIOT will be back next year.

More "AWESOME" then MWXL? C'mon baby! When it come to The MWXL, you have to look at the 5 "P's"...
Price: We try to ensure our entry prices are reasonable so that you want to come play.
Payout: We feel that our payouts are comparable to most of our competitors and offer a pretty good rate of return.
Places: Moving this event around some of the best Midwest fields is a call we answered by you (the player) and think it's been the best thing since sliced bread!
Paint: Name one tourney series that allows you to BYOP? (crickets...crickets. crickets..)
People: I AM ****ING AWESOME!!!!! LOL.
I hope to see you guys back for the last event. We (MWXL) have some big things planed for the last event and hope you guys, along with all the other teams that have supported the MWXL this year and any new teams just getting the memo will join us at The Badlandz September 2nd for Event #5

The events have been great.
I have to say, the events haven't moved around much. It's great not having to drive to Indiana from Iowa these last 2 events, but it's still a pretty big haul for us compared to some of the Chicago area and WI teams that can drive to the event the same morning.
I love the BYOP. Although I was disappointed we weren't able to get Ultra from KEE this event.
And Janssen, yeah, you're pretty awesome. You're very responsive to any issues whenever and wherever they might occur.
I'm not completely ruling out the last event, but there just might be better options for us coming up...

-Yes, We are trying are damndest to have netting up on the snake side for the last event.
-Consider it done.
-Ok, done. The good news is badlandz is investing in 30 new covered picnic tables at the cost of $500 USD each for a grand total of $15,000 plus $900 for freight. Bad news is entry for D4 MWXL just went up to $1,200 per team to cover some of the cost.
:p
