only take it out if you are having problems with bolt stick, and have tried all other ways of getting rid of it. efficiency will not change

i was having a TINY amount of bolt stick the other day, but i thought that was because i lowered my dwell to 13 instead of 14.

solenoid vents some air and cushions the bolts impact on the ball.

Incorrect, the FT manifold vents air.
The FT screw makes the pathway smaller, in doing that its slows down the return cycle of the bolt.
I say take the FT screw out no matter what, I feel it makes the gun shoot better. IDK how to explain it.

i just removed it and can instantly tell my bolt cycles harder and with more air pushing the ball. dont have a chrono but will me lowering the HPR pressure lower the speed of the bolt and kick? it seems removing increased the kick.

Incorrect. The FT screw slows the bolt slightly on the FORWARD travel. The manifold screw is responsible for slowing the rearward travel of the bolt and is much more adjustable.

If you aren't having issues with bolt stick or fsdo I say leave it in.

FYI, the feathertouch screw is non adjustable. It's either in there or taken out. You are referring to the manifold screw.
