I've tried lubing it to no effect, It starts to thread but about halfway on it locks up and feels like metal on metal. I'll try the smaller O-ring to see if that helps but I'm doubtful.

Have you tried lubing all of the threads and not just the orings?

Also are any of the threads damaged, burred, nicked, not smooth?

If it is readily identifiable as a H. Heat luxe then for sure worth more. Everyone I have seen up are 15 to 20% higher in asking price.

I would be a lot more willing to spend more on that one but not the black LE. Unless of course it has something else on the other side other than the heat logo.

Is it that 1.5 that has the heat logo on it ? Getsomepaintball had it for sale. If so it's not worth much. It's not really considered a factory 1/1

What do you mean? The picture is a few comments up but it looks like it probably just has the word heat annoed on it but its on the other side of the gun and not the side pictured

It just has "Heat" on it. No numbers, no names. Normal serial number I believe as well (but not 100% on that, only about 93%

Lasering can be done after the fact. Without H. Heat numbering or unmistakable anno your friend would have to get a Heat player to endorse ownership. I am simply stating what I would do and look for. I personally wouldn't pay a lot more for a gun unless I could track it back to the player or the very minimum the team. That's the bad news. The good news is it is still a 1.5 Luxe!
