Also, either this studio has absolutely no idea what it's doing in the PR department, or they still have a ways to go before beta, or public alpha.

i do not like the way you switch weapons/attachments at all. you shouldnt be able to go from an assault rifle with a scope, hit a menu button and switch to a red dot sight. i think they should either make the optics hard mounted (whatever optic is on that gun is there forever, not changeable) or only allow you to carry one optic at a time. switching between them that easy is a game killer IMO.

I guess it's up to you if you want to carry that many attachments instead of more useful things like food and water.

I do think it should take a little while to switch them though. 10 seconds or something to switch.

I'd agree with this. Have it take as long as it would IRL to switch out attachments.

Yeah being able to go from a close quarters red dot to a zoom scope that fast is silly. You should have to sit there and watch your enemy run and hide as you are trying to switch to better optics to take them out from long range.

I say, no red dots at all. How long before you can't find the batteries for them in a real zombie apocalypse? IRL you would want to get good at shooting with iron sights real fast.

The batteries last a pretty long time. Most red dots you can turn on and off when you want to use it.

Do they last forever? Because that's how long you need them to in a world where you can't get more.

Btw, I was and am just being a bastard. I really don't care if they are in the game. I've been playing too much Borderlands and I need a nap, sorry.

No, but i really doubt it would be impossible to find batteries honestly. And if you're only turning it on to shoot at a zombie (Which i dont think would be that often IRL) they could last you multiple years.

You know, Aimpoints have a 30,000 hour continuous use battery life. There are also quick disconnect optic mounts that allow for repeatable zeros.

For the average person it would probably take a little longer. Any delay is fine to me, but shouldn't be instant like it is.

You really think you could change a scope/silencer/red dot in 2 seconds? And do it correctly?

not to mention you have to align the scope on the rings and zero it before its even close gto being accurate.

Because Zombie games require ultimate realism... While i agree it should be reworked i would hardly call it a "game killer".

its a game killer when PVP is involved. you shouldnt be able to get far enough away from a bandit that you think youre out of range, only for him to instantly have a sniper scope and kill you anyway.

I think one scope slot of inventory space should be all you get. If you want to change scopes you should have to go back and get it out of your safe storage space. This will force you to plan your outing appropriately. You wouldnt go into a CQC firefight if you had a long range scoped weapon. Your decision making and approach to situations would change drastically. If you could instantly change scopes and attachments then it turns into call of duty. Oh wait you cant even do that in call of duty!

Yes. You literally lift two levers, remove the first optic, attach the new one, and depress the two levers. A suppressor ratchets on rather quickly/easily depending on the mounting system.

I think he meant more on the lines that after you attach it you'll have to zero it in, and adjust to properly target it.

Either way, I agree. You either need a limited amount of attachments that you can carry, or add more delay to the switch time.. or both.
