GA in November doesn't seem like a bad idea. But what about ECU in October?

3 events in the Fall and 2 in the Spring isn't a terrible thing, since Nationals will be on most Spring budgets. 3 in each semester effectively gives everyone two "drop" scores--meaning their standings won't be hurt if they happen to miss two tournaments.

As far as these numbers go, I'm okay with whatever is easiest for everyone while not hurting the turnout of individual tournaments.

Mario is good for November 10th if everyone wants an event that day. Another perk for that date... If anybody wants to hang around to Sunday he is having a 3 man tournament on the 11th. 1st place is axes, 2nd is prophecy z2, 3rd is Events. Entry is $125 and paint is $45 a case. D3 rank and lower only!

Can we go ahead and schedule this event on that date? I'd like to get at least this date set so my players can schedule around it.

Clemson can definitely do 2 tourneys each semester + Nationals. But I just don't think we have enough time in between tournaments if we have 3 in a semester, especially doing back to back to back months and the November tourney being early and the Sept tourney being late. We would not have enough time or money to practice between the tournaments.

Clemson will only have enough cash to participate in 2 tourneys a semester.

Pyro, how nice is the field ECU would host at?

And anybody from GSU, how about your field?

It just makes more sense to go to quality fields with tourney experience so the tournaments run smoothly and everybody has a good time.

I can go ahead and schedule Nitro for Nov 10th. Are all the other teams good with that also? I can have it up by the end of the week.

That's the best weekend for Clemson in October or November. Schedule it and if we absolutely have to move it, that'll be straight.

PBC Rock Hill and Greensville are nice and we have had good experiences with those fields.
PBC Greensboro has a nice field, but we have been SEVERELY disappointed by events there... During a Class A event, they had 4 refs... one of which was a regular rec ball ref... It was horrible.

If we can, without it causing too many wrinkles, we can do nitro in October so that it doesn't interfere with fall break.

As far as what I've been looking at for ECU, I've been in contact with fields in fayetteville and Durham NC. Both are turfed fields with full PSP bunker sets, regulation dimensions.

black ops paintball in fayetteville.
Xtreme Kombat paintball in Durham.

PBC Rock Hill is where Clemson will likely try to host it. But Greenville is a good backup.

Depending on what day it is, I'm not positive Clemson could do a tourney in back to back months like that. What day were you thinking?

Only barely heard of either, but turf is a good sign. What tourney experience do they have?

I haven't pulled the trigger on either location, or any date. If it's best for the conference, we just won't do an event in October, which seems like the way everyone is leaning. It'll be better for everyone money-wise, and there isn't much use hosting a tournament if barely anyone shows up anyway.

We (UCF) finally just got official through the school. Back to back events for us might be hard to do without funding but then again I'm not sure what our plan is for the year as a whole. I know for a fact we will miss the first event, but after that We are shooting to play at least 3 events with nationals I think. I'll know more monday night though.

The venue at PBC has always been nice. An event in November works better for us as well.

If you guys are wanting to have one at XK (or Black Ops), let me know what State can do to help with that.
