it's mounted on the non feed side or bottom of the marker...
unless there's a bracket between the grip frame and the breach, using the front thumb screw to hold it , the cocking bar/rod would get in the way

looks cool, but how strong is it? where did you get the pic?
well from what i can tell the asa is completely round so there is no top or bottom, and there is not cocking rod like you thinking. the gun in the pic is a trrace not a taskmaster so it cocks from the side not the bottom.

that exactly what i was thinking, if its the same thread as the existing screw than i don't think it would be that strong at all.

and the pic came from a google search vary late at night so that all i remember, but i know he was talking about the cuts he made on the pump arm and barrel and he did not say a word about the asa.

right... the pump handle is linked to the bolt by the bars on both sides of the marker just like my maverick, thats what I ment.

so if it's round then the front thumb screw on the bottom front of the grip frame is whats holding it on... not so good.. the screw goes in the asa and through to the marker.. I don't like it looks like it would spin.

there has to be a better way.......

EDIT: NEWS FLASH!!!!

found this on ebay..... but you would have to tap the holes somewhere... and I think the asa is the threaded part so the screws go into the asa not the marker
p.s. it's a tac-one (AGD) part AIRGUN DESIGNS,INC. * RT PRO - ULE/TAC ONE *

Does the Maverick have enough extra room to drill through for the screws to go in to the ASA though? Another idea...has anyone tried or put a Phantom ASA screwed in to the trigger gaurd? Not sure how'd it work with the gaurd being plastic but it doesn't have to support much weight.

no, not enough room to drill for screws in the grip frame, and the front part of the trigger guard looks kinda thin... you could drill through and back it with a thin strip of metal... kinda like a big solid washer... that would spread out the pressure... and don't forget to glue the strip to the INSIDE of the trigger guard for that mod!

Does anyone have a good way to run the air line from the back to a bottom-line ASA like your running it through a front, vertical ASA without one actually being there?

Stainelss or copper hardline would do that. With enough work you could even get it to travel inside the grip- an invisible hose really.

Where can I buy which ever hardline is cheaper? Im going to guess stainless would be cheaper.

And please expand on what you mean. I could run the line from the bottomline ASA through the grip or from the back-bottle ASA or what?

a gas through grip would be a hard one... that takes alot of skill and time and hard work... I would love to see pic's of that in action or the makes!

I never played around with hardlines, but have always wanted to...
