Tron Legacy

I'll admit: I've never seen the original movie.

But this look bad ***, nonetheless:

Enjoy!

I will admit, I didn't really have an opinion for the first one, but this one looks cool.

Looks awesome, I'll definitely be seeing it at the movies. Stereoscopic too.

The first one was a completely new idea when it came out - the actors had to be told what a "program" was because back then nobody had computers at home. Nobody. I thought they did an incredible good job considering. The graphics look crap by today's standards but the acting was awesome by Jeff Bridges - who is back for this new one. The story wasn't exactly complex, but it was still leagues above transformers 2 or half the other crappy effects based blockbusters we get these days.

It's really worth watching just so you know your history, and you'll appreciate the new one so much more when you see it

There's also a game adaptation coming out though I doubt it'll be any good or anywhere near as good as the previous tron game (Tron 2.0) - Tron:Evolution

Saw it tonight. I enjoyed it thoroughly. There's a cameo by Daft Punk which is pretty cool.

It was very cool visually, and obviously the soundtrack was very good as well. I even enjoyed the story.

It's worth seeing on the silver screen for sure.

Sounds like every review ever written for this film, eh?

But yeah, the dialogue really didn't bother me at all for some reason. It was still the least satisfying part of the movie, but it's no Avatar.

Visually, stunning. I did have a problem with the dialog and the flow of the movie. I felt transition were extremely rough and new elements were introduced too quickly or without much if any background.

I kinda want a 3d TV just for.

Spoiler: (Highlight this box to see the hidden message.)
The flyer chase scene near the end

I went into it with the same "this is a treat for the eyes and ears, not the brain" that I did with avatar, and really enjoyed it.
