If you view the image in a new window it is much larger. Stupid PBN resizing.

*Edit* ^^ Damnn.

Had an interesting time shooting my roommate in our ghetto city..

Found rows and rows of abandoned military housing that would look cool, figured sketchy stuff went on in there, turned the corner to reach our spot and there's a homeless guy taking a dump against a house. Awkward part was that I thought he was just smoking his cigarette and proceeded to take pictures of my roommate who was basically facing him. Snapped two, glanced at the guy again and realized what was going on, then proceeded to get the hell out of there. I think the story helps the picture. The guy was to the left which is why he's looking away.

and a few more from the adventure.

here's something from Cody's page.. the player is pretty dark and the sky is super blown out. I know it's possible to save an image like that in LR.

here's a wide angle of mine too

You weren't in Newport News were you? That first image looks a hell of a lot like the old row houses off of Terminal Boulevard, with I-664 and the Pier IX coal terminal in the background.

Yea, probably is, even more so shooting RAW but I gave up on doing that for paintball when I shot MAO. I dunno, my apathy for post processing paintball photos has been shifting up lately

I like that shot Chris, and the one you posted from MAO of being 'kicked in the face'. I might try to replicate it

EDIT: Tried pushing the darks more, does look better I think, I'll have to just pay attention to these shots and not blanket process them.

And before anyone says 'borders'..., typically I hate em. But during processing the image started to feel a lot like pencil on rag.

Can't believe I missed this one somehow. Awesome work!

Not sure, but they were probably either military row houses, or public housing projects. Either way, be careful as that's a ROUGH hood. I have an account (day job) across the railroad tracks that I occasionally visit, and when I do I lock doors, don't stop, and pack heat.

CNU eh? Didn't realize any ST crew were closer to me than Ali. We should get together for a beer or something sometime.
