MASTER Tournament Thread @ PAINTBALL PLEX - 2010 SEASON - 3Man 5Man 7Man Xball

We're very happy to announce our 2010 Tournament Schedule and look forward to seeing old and new faces at each event!

We offer the new and advanced player a high quality play experience at an affordable price. Monthly we will hold our standard format 3man and 5man events with the traditional PLEX Cash Payouts. Nothing fancy here .... just solid paintball with semi-auto guns and no coaching.

We're also happy to be host to the MSXL (Mid South Xball League) in June and the GLS (Great Lakes Series) event in July and October. Each of these leagues have a solid history of holding top notch events and we plan to uphold that tradition! We hope the local teams support these events and test their skills with these Mid-West and Mid-South States players.

2010 Paintball PLEX Tournament Schedule

APR 25TH: Div5 3MAN + 5MAN *** SPECIAL: THE WINNING 5MAN TEAM WILL GET PAID ENTRY INTO THE MAY 2ND GLS TOURNAMENT - THIS IS IN ADDITION TO THE NORMAL CASH PAYOUT!! **** THE WINNING TEAM WILL PLAY UNDER THE NAME "TRADEMYGUN FACTORY".

MAY 23RD: Div5 3Man + 5Man
JUNE 5TH & JUNE 6TH: MSXL (Xball) Div 2 & Div 3 & Div 4 - All 5man
JULY 25TH: Div5 3MAN + GLS Div5 & Open 5MAN
AUG 29TH: Div5 3Man + 5Man
SEPT 26TH: Div5 3MAN + 5MAN
OCT 30TH - SATURDAY - Div5 3MAN + GLS Div5 & Open 5MAN (Last Chance Qualifier for Nationals on Oct 31st)
OCT 31ST - SUNDAY - GLS 5MAN Div5 & Open - NATIONALS (Must Qualify)
NOV 28TH - Indoor Div5 3Man + 5Man

3MAN TOURNAMENT DETAILS - D5 (Rookie / Novice)

3 Man Divisions: D5 (we will allow 1 D4 player per team)
3 Man Team Entry Fee: $75
3 Man Prizes: $50 from each team entered will go to a cash payback. 1st=60%,2nd=25%,3rd=15%
3 Man Max Roster Size: 4
Rate Of Fire: Semi Auto (uncapped)
NO Coaching
1st - 3rd Place Payback for each Division
Registration Deadline: The day before each event
Paint Prices: $47, $50 and $55 per Case (Paint must be purchased day of event)
5 Teams Required to Hold the Event (Must have 5 Paid teams 5 Days before the Event or that division will be cancelled)

5MAN TOURNAMENT DETAILS - D5 (Rookie/Novice)

5 Man Divisions: D5 (2 D4 players allowed per team)
5 Man Team Entry Fee: D5 Class = $150
5 Man Prizes:$100 from each team entered will go to a cash payback. 1st=60%,2nd=25%,3rd=15%
NO Coaching, ROF: Semi Auto Uncapped
1st - 3rd Place Payback for each Division
Registration Deadline: The day before each event
Paint Prices: $47, $50 and $55 per Case (Paint must be purchased day of event)
Field Paint Only
5 Teams Required to Hold the Event (Must have 5 Paid teams 2 Days before the Event or that division will be cancelled)
Note: MSXL and GLS Events Have Different Rules, Entrys, and Paybacks (See their site for details - see below)

CLASSIFICATIONS EXPLAINED

We use the APPA system to determine your classification. If you have never played a tournament that required a APPA number then you will be classified "beginner or D5" in our tournaments. If you do have a APPA number please visit our registration page and you can check your Class. We use the same Classification as the PSP (www.pspevents.com). We do not require a PSP ID Card but you do have to provide a Picture ID (with name and birthdate) when you check in the day of the event.

MAXL was fun but at the end of the day I decided to keep my monthly 3man and 5man tournament going year around ...... plus I wanted to support two established leagues by hosting their events (GLS and MSXL) ...... after that there's no time left on the calendar.

5man is looking good with 9 teams signed up and 7 teams paid. This event WILL HAPPEN this Sunday!!

3man has 4 teams signed up with 1 team paid. I'll look at this again on Wed. morning. If we don't have 5 paid teams 3man will be cancelled. We have 2 DAYS and I know of a couple of other teams that are planning on playing. GET YOURSELF PAID if you are signed up!!!

This Sunday our first game will start at 8:30am EST. 5man will use the 2010 Phoenix PSP layout. 3man will be a modification of that layout.
