I won't be there but am moving to portland soon and was looking at checking this field out for a home field. Is there normally a couple of pumpers out there every week? Just wondering because I play modified stock class.

I'm usually there and I usually get one or two friends to use my spare pumps as well.

Hey if anyone has a 2k+ mini pump kit for sale let me know. I'd love to pick one up for the vertebrae I just got.

A little off topic, but I'm going to have my wife get me a pump for Christmas, the only thing is I don't know the first thing about pumps. I played a few games with one at SVP a few weeks ago and loved it.

I would like one with detents though and have it run off air.

Whats the most solid entry pump? Is there a site that I can price it out with detents etc?

Most any pump can run with constant air, if you mean hpa still able to run any pump but a sniper(pump cocker) would probably fit you well. Don't mean this as an add but there are some pictures of my guns in sig, if you see something you like or would like to build yourself go ahead and pm me and I'll help you with what I can.

The one I played with had a little C02 4oz? and I wouldn't want to have to pay to get that filled all the time. That's why I said air. I was really annoyed by the ball rolling out the front, are there any pumps with detents stock? I like the gold pump you have.

The marker I used also had a stock too, which was kinda fun.

The gold pump is a phantom, they can use compressed air but prefer co2. Check out www.phantomonline.com there are a ton of different ways to set up the phantom. Plus the owner is local (Oregon) and a great guy.

thanks for the link. Is installing detents a custom job?

I'd like to have a small C02 in place of that 12gram on the front of the gun. and then possibly a stock. that's all.

There are detents for phantoms known as detent rings. You put them in before you put in the barrel. When you say small you mean a 3.5/4 ounce tank? That set up is pretty common actually. Might want to check out the pump bst and look at some phantoms. Good luck finding a marker you like .

I was looking at some players playing with pumps and they have their CF tank (68/45s) and I am thinking it might be better if I just stick with that. From my understanding that would DQ me from SC, but whatever right now. There is a guy I see at SVP often with a Phantom OG shirt on, don't know his name though.
