This is a good opportunity LTK for you to show that you're not just a talking head with marching orders from the left.
I don't necessarily believe that you are, but your willingness to confront gonzo about his ignorance of basic economic principles would speak volumes.

You are all debating economic theory as if its the only factor in this situation. Drive the production overseas where production costs are lower? Well here are a few factors not mentioned yet. Will the devices made in China, India, Brazil , and Asia pass FDA quality standards and approval process when brought back to the US? Would corporations selling these devices willingly open themselves to the lawsuits sure to come when some American does not like the results of using said devices. Will insurance companies severely increase product liability premiums due to the uncertainty of the quality of devices built off shore. Trail lawyers will begin salivating at the mere thought of the money involved.

Whether foreign products pass isn't a matter of debate, it's a matter of throwing money at the problem.
The FDA doesn't make sure products are safe, they make sure manufacturers invest enough money in the FDA.

I posted that from my phone, so i couldn't quote this, but the reason we're past worrying about foreign competition is that the tax will still be imposed on foreign med supplies so the only way they would be relatively cheaper would have to be something besides the tax.

...after all, yesterday was THE greatest attack to happen to the people of this country's history. Just as bad, if not worse than Pearl Harbor or 911. I love conservatives.

There ain't no such thing as a free lunch, or free birth control.
Some portion of the ACA took effect 2 days ago, apparently hipster college kids are pissed their college insurance did not meet requirements for ACA and the new contract has cost them several hundred more in college health insurance coverage. If only someone can invent a device that allows you to have cake and eat it too

It is already in place and operating; it is called "the government". The trick is knowing how to manipulate it to one's own benefit.

Yeah most colleges had a basic health insurance plan that cost like 60 dollars a semester. Obamacare eliminated that, so the extra costs for me personally was over 200 a semester.

IS this the incident where the police chased down someone who escaped detainment twice, went to turn around and ended up getting shot even though he was unarmed? The gun the cop used to kill him was an mp5 iirc which is odd for police to have no?
I'd watch the video but my internet is slow as **** atm.

This is the point of the dependent eligibility to 26 years old provision. Also the subsidies come online in 2014.
The percentage of students covered by private plans that are not their parents' or through an employer appears to be in the single digits.
