Inside the HPR there is a piece called the regulator adjuster. Inside it is a small plastic like piece called a regulator seat. It needs to be replaced. In the mean time you can try flipping it over to see if it seals.

I would leave it at two turns in from where the adjuster is flush with the cap.

There is a #8 oring inside the HPR adjuster assembly. Honestly its a pain to get at but is the issue. It is located inside where the piston slides into.

thanks, do you think this might also be why it won't chrono over 260?

Is there a way to adapt or modify newer ego models solenoids for an 06 dark ego or should I just track down an 06 solenoid? What other parts on post 06 egos are compatible to the dark 06 ego I have?
Thanks

Are TechT drops oil acceptable for oiling the ram and bolt or is PE oil the only acceptable oil to avoid warranty issues?

You can get a etek universal solenoid and minifold and up your dwell to 13 as they need more power, and it will work no problem.

Are both your solenoid dials wide open?
Swap out the 2 orings within the LPR.
Do you have the proper spring inside the HPR? If you have a GEO, your velocity will be low.
Swap out the rammer orings
Up your dwell to factory.

Ive done it numerous times using the EGO7/8 solenoid and manifold set up. You simply need to make sure it sits in the exact spot at the original combo. Then up your dwell to 12.5

Tect-T will not void the warranty. You are find to use what you have although when finished we highly recommend PE oil and grease.

It takes some tuning. Try turning the HPR pressure down a bit.

Hey bill,

I got my ego11 used and it never had any spring in the trigger assembly, I assume the prior owner pulled it out and ran strictly off magnetic return. While digging through what's left of my parts kit, I found these 2 springs. Are these for the trigger assembly, or some other part of the marker? If they are the springs I need to get spring return, how is it mounted?

Thanks!

I have a 07 ego with a inconsistent leak coming from the minifold/solenoid hole closest to the trigger.(it can be very loud at times)Sometimes when I fire the gun the leak goes away, however it always comes back.

all settings on gun are stock, lpr is 1.5 turns in.

I have replaced lpr o rings except for the one on the piston, and I have replaced all of the rammer o rings.

I did notice that the hose coming from the regulator to the solenoid was pretty dirty(paint).

Do you have any idea what would be causing this leak? I really appreciate your help.
