Victory V2 vs Luxe 2.0 vs Clone VX

Evaluating some choices. I've narrowed down to the three in the title to look at which one to get. Unfortunately, where I'm currently residing (In Minnesota) I have yet to find any fields that carry any of the three markers in the title. So right now I'm looking for places to check them out/ also looking for info on them. Anyone who has any info on them is appreciated.

Thanks!

IMO:

Victory V2 > Clone VX > Luxe 2.0

Victory is the most efficient, is pretty darn close to the others in terms of how smooth it is, is IMO the most comfortable in my hand. Although the Clone is isn't far behind.

For me, the Luxe is the worst by a LONG, LONG way behind. The talking board irritates me, and for me, it's far too long making it quite uncomfortable to use.

I would go clone VX, the the Vic V2. Personally, I wouldn't even consider the Luxe 2.0. Not worth the money to get the same gun as a luxe 1.0 but with a slightly different board, eye covers, etc. The internals are basically the same and are not worth the extra money.

Between the Clone and the Vic, it is just deciding between a spool or a poppit. I would use the clone because they are air efficient enough and do not need a pressure tester to tune.

You can turn sound on the board off and the Vic is barely half an inch shorter, hardly noticable. Luxe is by far the smoothest, And efficiency doesn't matter unless you need to shoot 12 pods in a game. Luxe is also easier to maintain that the two

I would definitely disagree with the Luxe being the smoothest.

Luxe is pretty close. If efficiency matters absolutely zero and you want the bells and whistles get he luxe. Otherwise clone cause it has plenty efficient while being an oped and super smooth.

Need to shoot 12+ pods? Just like to not go to the fill station as often? Victory every day of the week and twice on Sundays. Hands down the victory inline poppit design is very smooth while getting amazing efficiency. Feels good in the hands, lots of color choices, easy to maintain and setup with the pressure tester. Large community and easy to get parts/service.

Clone VX, still holds the crown out of the box for efficiency in a spool valve marker. I personally find something strange with the trigger on these. Very smooth marker. Felt a bit too small in my hands but overall very solid. Maintenance is a bit more complicated then both the Luxe and the Victory. Less color options then your other two choices. Good community behind it, I have never dealt with support nor had to order parts so I have no opinion there.

Luxe, worse efficiency then both of your other selections but you should still see 9 pods and a hopper on a 68/4500. Super easy to maintain, ultra smooth shot. Has a very cool talking board, you can adjust the volume on if you don't want to hear it, or if you want it loud so everyone can hear it. If you like an LCD or OLED board, your only option on the luxe is to shell out additional cash for the virtue electronics. Uses freak barrel inserts to match paint easily. Probably the most color options and has 2 rechargeable batteries stock. Large community, easy to get parts/service.

All 3 are great markers and I have no doubt you will enjoy all of them no matter what you choose. Good luck!

I've heard a lot of different feedback on smoothness, does anyone have any insight on which is the quietest?

(Thanks for your insight everyone btw)

Hard to say considering I've never shot them back to back to back, but assuming stock barrel, I would say Luxe is the Quietest. Victory loudest...probably. It's pretty close to the same as the Clone VX.

LUXE: The luxe is probably the smoothest and most quiet gun on the market. Very nice stock trigger. Being 5'11" / 200lbs, it feels great in my hands and having no macroline is icing on the cake.
Drawbacks: least efficient 'modern' spool, comparable to the Geo1?, if that's any concern. overpriced.

Clone: Extremely smooth and quiet. When fired, Luxes have a prolonged hissing sound whereas clones have a quick pufff sound signature. Clone VX's sound very similar to DYE DM's yet more quiet. People who do not own clones don't realize it takes 10+ or more cases to break-in the orings/drivetrain. Once broken in, it's commonly said that Clone VX'd/VX's are smoother than luxes. They're also the most efficient spools on the market along with the Dye NT. Clone VX's are smaller, lighter, thinner, and have a higher ROF(30+bps with the included a Tadao OLED board).
Drawbacks: Clone VX drivetrain is 7-pieces and requires 21 o-rings(standard and metric) making it the most 'complicated' design. Macdev CS is hit or miss depending on who you ask. Mediocre stock trigger.

Victory: fast, quiet and smooth. The only other poppits that would rival the Vic in terms of sound/smoothness would be a G6R/other marqs, Ego11, or Axe with lurker/boss v2 bolt.
Drawbacks: Requires LP or SLP. Least adjustable stock trigger of the 3 markers compared; boring and continually replicated on every BL marker since 2008. V1,V2,ripper victorys are internally the same; You're essentially paying for the newer milling design and/or included extra barrel backs/tips.. Panel grips on the v1 are crap and requiring a pressure tester to calibrate your marker is annoying to lug around

Conclusion:
The Clone VX is the ideal girl you take home to mom and dad: sexy, well balanced, does everything well, and has the credentials to prove it.
The Luxe is the big-tittied blonde chick at the bar. The guilty pleasure.
Victory? I ran out of metaphors and would rather shoot the other two

I have had several luxe 1.0s, 1.5s, and a 2.0, they are all the same, hnestley i dont even know why they call them different guns, there all the same with very minor changes.

The first ball drop off with the luxe sucks! im sure theres several people that are gonna dissagree withme on this, and thats whatever, this is my opinion, im paying alot of money for these guns i shouldnt have some stupid problem like drop off. however the luxe is quiet. as far as the "bells and whistles" do you really need a gun that talks to you?

The Clone VX is smooth, and fairly quiet but isnt very efficiant, and it doesnt really feel good in my hands.

The V2 victory is the loudest, it has a distinct pop, but guess what guys your comparing a poppit to spool valves, id be shocked if it was as quiet! in my honest opinion, ive owned them all, and i personally shoot a V2 Vic, its reliable, smooth and extremely efficiant. the only thing i wish they would do is include the 4c eyes in the gun when you buy it, cause they really do make a difference when your shooting semi.

I haven't owned all 3 but have shot two of them.

Vic: The one I shot was a V1 but they're the same internally as the V2 so it counts. It was smooth, crazy efficient and actually pretty quiet. I put my Lucky15 on it and it was damn quiet. Very comfortable in the hand the lack of a macroline in very nice.

Clone VX: It was very smooth and pretty quiet. Felt good in the hand and the fit and finish was very nice. I like the oled too. Macdev doesn't do a whole lot of factory color options though. And the drive train has more orings than anything I've ever seen.

Luxe: Only Luxe I've ever seen was out of comission on the sidelines at a local field. By the time he had it fixed I was leaving. Hear lots of fsdo problems with them too. For one of the most expensive guns on the market it should come with ZERO problems.

If I had the money to buy one new, I'd go with the Vic. But then again I'd probably just buy a used V1 Vic because I like the way they look better.

Do you still have FSDO w the 2.0 powercore? I personally dont have FSDO w my 1.5 bc I use a sprung/polished setup and I guarantee no gun is smoother or quiter than my 1.5, not a chance! But the newer powercore is sprung and shouldnt have these issues. I believe, imo, the changes the Luxe has gone thru are substantial. Im glad they havent change the body, its the best looking marker and the erogomics are ideal for me. As far as length of the gun, I use peanut tanks exclusively and the Luxe is the only gun I use a 68/4500 for, just how its sits for me.

At the end of the day all 3 markers are great guns, you need to look at your budget and get the guns in your hands and see what works for you. those are the main factors. None of the guns themselves w fail you
