Just showing off a little. :)
This puppy has been my project for about a year now, just picking up pieces and parts here and there. Im waiting on a Rock LPR to come in the mail, and then I'd like to ship her out to ano. Then I'd say she's finished.
I have no idea what body that is. It's custom, that's for sure. I know FBM and AIM used Angel feedneck threading, but I don't recognize this body as one of them. It also has dual detents. Anyway, it looks real nice.
It has:
- Shocktech slider frame
- chrome plated trigger plate
- Shocktech roller bearing sear
- Shocktech Phat hammer, polished
- Palmer LT valve
- Taso 3-way
- KAPP (I think) VA
- some random, nice, clamping feedneck
- stock delrin bolt
- Promaster HPR

The ST slider is still raw. Still has some rough edges too. I need file 'em down, polish it up, and ship out to ano.
I am completely torn between just ano'ing the frame gloss black and calling it done, or if I want a dust olive/gloss black ano done. Like, dust olive body, front block, va, frame, beavertail, barrel front, and feedneck; gloss black everything else. I don't know which I want more.

You need some TRV's.
They help, even for mech cockers.
Nice marker. That trigger frame is awesome, but you should get it splash anodized or some other old school anno.

I would love a splash ano'd gun, but busy colors deduct from the milling of the gun, and this one has some beautiful cuts I'd like to be easily seen.
And I've though about QEV's, but I didn't think they had any affect on mechs. What can I expect? Smoother operation?

Snappier operation- quicker to cycle on a microsecond level. Allows for some VERY short/aggressive timing. From my experience smoother would come from some different work- lighter bolt, a lower LPR pressure, roller sear if you have a slider, and some spring work.

I was about to say. I wouldn't mind shorter timing. They may be worth the investment just for that.
But this sucker shoots as smooth as a hot knife cuts through butter. Shocktech roller sear (with a bearing on the tip of the sear AND the pivot hole), chrome plated plate (the cheapies on eBay are surprisingly nice), delrin bolt, Shocktech Phat hammer (heavy, and has a brass exterior). It's a very nice shooter.
I'd love to pick up some brass tipped or plastic tipped trigger screws. I think that's about the only way to improve the trigger pull at this point. After that, I can't see how it could get any closer to frictionless. Anyone know where I could pick some up?

Just be careful, smooth and snappy are/were the two doctrines for cocker triggers- if you wanna go snappier you would probably need some harder springs (At least in the trigger) and therefore lose some smoothness.
Without going on a rant, from what I understand Belsales stood by having "like buttah" sliders- not the fastest things in the world, but VERY comfy to shoot and easy to keep rhythm with. Shocktech on the other hand wanted speed out of their guns, thus their creation of the bomb 3way and their snappier/harder trigger setups to take full advantage. Granted a little harder/more tiring to shoot for a while, but they were murder when put in a good snap shooter's hands.

I don't need fast. No more than 6 or so. I'm not a speed shooter. My trigger is fairly long, but really smooth. Very easy to keep a rhythm.
I hear that Belsales put out a trigger plate with roller bearings on it. God I would love one. I know Extreme Rage made one, but I don't trust it. I can see it lasting too long.

Wow.
I mean, I'd rather have a Hybrid 1/2 Pint on there and an RX Gladiator on there, but aside from that, it looks phenomenal.
I really, really love the body kit and 3-way.
