I wouldn't hate on Bronies nearly as much if it wasn't for the fact that a lot of them are the same *******s that would hate on a furry for being weird, but then turn around and proudly announce to be a fan of candy colored horses. Its because of those *******s that I know what the **** a Fluttershy is. I'm a 28 year old man. That information is probably taking up space in my brain that I would normally use to know what size wrench I need to fix something.
Wait wtf we went open beta?! All my **** is reset, I have no mechs except my founders and full mc, full premium time as well. I thought they were delaying it longer.
Also, the removed the cn9ah variant. Super disappointed, that was my favorite variant.

Oh thank god. I was trying to figure out what the **** I'm doing with this new layout and I've pretty much already ****ed up my founders mech. Do not invest in all the new structure/dhs/armor upgrades at once. I did it on my atlas and wtf I can mount like 3 weapons after all is said and done. Still experimenting with the changes, but ****, this is confusing.

Yea, you really need to make a decision between using Endo-Steel or Ferro-Fibrous armor.
Endo Steel provides more weight savings but costs more to buy as well as repair.
Yea, everything is different. Wish the mechlab wouldn't make you save every time you want to switch between the tabs, it would have saved me a ton of cbills to see what exactly I was doing before I actually spent the money on the things.
LRMboating premades are not as good as they used to be. Just faced one with a total pug, they took out 2 of us really quick, but we waited them out, let them run low on ammo, then charged them from 3 different directions, wiped the floor with them. feelsgoodman.jpg
Edit: So it turns out dhs' that are in the engines are broken. They are counted as shs' and you only receive dhs bonuses for the external dhs'. And there are a ton of people complaining that ylh is breaking the game, but they can't all decide on why. I just want my 9ah back or at least give me the mech xp.

I don't see how the YLW could be breaking the game. I pick them apart in my Cicada. They look cool though. I haven't tried to use my YLW yet, but I have have a feeling they won't come into their own until they introduce Solaris and melee combat.
The cicada is pretty sweet, IMO. It can't mount a lot of damage dealing weaponry but it is fast, and with enough upgrades can sport enough armor to let it survive longer than a jenner or commando. You thought Atlas's waddled away screaming from jenners, wait til you park a cicada behind one and they realize a couple of lucky gauss or Llaser shots aren't gonna get rid of you.
Cicada's are extremely prevalent and extremely annoying haha, but I have a feeling it's just cause it's a new mech and everyone is trying it out. I've seen more cicadas than jenners on the field now, it seems like a lot of jenner pilots are seeing what this new guy can do. Also seeing more jenners with heavier weapons loadouts, either 2ssrms or 2 srm4's with the usual 4 ml's. The YLW is good for sniping, but it basically is a 9ah toned down. I mainly use mine cause of the c-bill bonus, usually make between 150k and 220k in matches. Super easy to take down though, just shoot off the ballistic arm and it has no chance after that. With the 2 laser slots in the ct along with the engine and gyro your choices for laser weaponry is extremely limited, so at most you'll see 1 ppc there, or 2 mpl's or 2 ml's. Plus they have xl engines so if you shoot the side torso you'll get easy kills.
YLW(and most Centurions) just aren't good one on one brawlers. I've been using YLW in hit and runs with the AC20 and twin MPulse and it hasn't been too bad. One problem I noticed last game I played with it was it seems like the arms don't have the range of movement that the regular centurion does. Could have been a glitch, I just noticed it and haven't went back to see if it happened again.
The thing I like about Cicadas is that people are trying to load them up with heavy weaponry, which it really can't do very well so they skimp on armor. You can peel them like an orange. I do have mine setup now with an ER PPC, 2 Mpulse and 1 MLaser which Alphas 27 damage, but overheats like a mother.
