You know you belong in the voided warranty when...

-You have enough spare parts to build at least one marker
-You make your gun selection based off the amount of work it would take to change the operating system.
-You spend half your day at the field fixing everyone's gun
-You begin your day with 3 guns and finish with one gun
-you have spare parts to guns you have never owned
-you have spare parts you don't remember buying
-You browse b/s/t looking for broken guns
-you can fix guns you've never owned

when you get a new marker the first thing you do is take it apart,
when you ask to look at a teammates marker and when there not looking you take it apart

This has happened to me...twice.

I bought a VL Charger specifically because there was a convenient slot cut in the body for a pump conversion I was working on.

Quote:
-You spend half your day at the field fixing everyone's gun
When I first started playing I found myself spending half the day fixing the field's rental guns. Didn't take them long to actually hire me.

Quote:
-You begin your day with 3 guns and finish with one gun
Only 3? Heck that would be me packing light. My record is 7 different guns used in one day. Only two broke down though

Quote:

Yes to both. What's worse is finding a complete GUN you don't remember buying.

Quote:
-You browse b/s/t looking for broken guns
Haven't done that in a while. For a while the local shop would set aside stuff for me. I have a whole box of spyder clone bodies in the garage just waiting for a project or two. Once I finish the dozen or so other projects I've already started.

Quote:
-you can fix guns you've never owned
I've fixed guns I've never even seen before. When ever a gun shows up that no one has even heard of, they tend to call me.

Here's a few more for ya...

-You've ever searched for a power outlet in the staging area of a tournament to find a place to plug in your dremel or soldering iron.

-You've managed to fix another player's gun in the middle of a game with no tools. (my current best...fixing a leaky hose on the spyder held by a kid standing next to me during the 5 second countdown)

-The local refs have an "except for you" clause in the "no tools on the field" rule so you can more effectively repair guns mid game.

-You've carried a chrono with you on the field, and weren't a ref.

-You've ever spent more than $100 at a paintball shop with out buying a gun, hopper, barrel, or air tank.

-You've bought an aftermarket part for a gun before buying the gun to fit it on. (owned a Sergison K Frame for 3 months before I found just the right gun for it)

-You've bought parts for guns that cost more than the guns they were for.

-You have parts on guns that are older than the gun by at least 5 years.

-When you at least once a day disassembly your marker and put it all together again just because u can.
- when you can actually fix any marker ( even the ones you dont know )
-when always looking for a way to mix up 2 or 3 markers even with out knowing how the hell you will do it .

[cracks knuckles]

-When you personally own 59 paintball guns, but have to spend the Friday before game weekend putting something together in order to play.

-When you've spent a decade and about $50,000 collecting machine tools for the sole purpose of making and modding paintball guns.

-When you show up at the field with a whole truck bed full of gear... but only one gun.

-When you've used your Radar Chrony to try and chronograph a bowling ball cannon.

-When you own your own HPA compressor.

-When you have targets hung from the trees behind the house, for something to shoot at when testing new guns.

-When you have a floodlight set up to light the targets, so you can test-fire at night.

-Worse, when you converted the back door to a "dutch door" setup, with a 'shelf' built into the top of the lower door, so you have something to set your tools and chronograph on, so you don't have to take the time to set up a table or bench to test-fire a gun.

All of the above is 100% true. Or at least it was 'til I bought an A5 just so I'd have a "grab it and go" gun...

Doc.
