Hey, just letting you guys know that I have been working hard to get a two field 47 bunker indoor arena started here at Minot AFB. Have been putting a lot of work into it. We are just waiting on the commander's signature and we will start building. Don't know how much business this will bring, but we have a lot of support from all over. Here are a few things we are thinking;

1. Outdoor Recreation has 20 rental packages. The cost of the rental package is a proposed $30. For $30, you will receive the following; Gun, mask, HPA tank, hopper, and 240 paintballs per game. This $30 also includes all day compressed air fills for your HPA tank.



2. We will be using reballs. This is something that cannot be changed. Reballs are a lot cheaper and also do not make a mess. For those who don’t know what a reball is, it is the same size as a paintball, however it is rubber and does not break. Since we don’t have to buy paint, the prices will be very cheap. We are proposing that there is a $5 per 240 paintballs per game. In addition, you will have the proposed option to purchase a bucket of 2000 reballs for ONLY $20. After you purchase the 2000, it will be a $5 refill fee for the bucket.



3. Since there is a mini golf course and the skate park in Treasure Island, we will need volunteers to help move them. For those who are concerned about taking them out, the mini-golf course will be moved to an enclosed area next to the pool and the skate park is looking to be moved outside the back door behind Treasure Island. The rock wall and the batting cages will still be located inside Treasure Island for family use during paintball events.



4. We have proposed a new name for Treasure Island. Splatterhouse Paintball. I just want some feedback on the name.



5. Splatterhouse Paintball will be big enough to encompass two fields. One field will be relatively small, but will work well for 3v3 and 5v5 games. The larger field (where the skate park is now) will be more aimed towards adults and larger games of 7v7 or 10v10. The small field, we are looking to get that covered with carpet while the larger field will be concrete so please, be aware.



6. When games are being held, depending on the number of players, we will have referees. Refs will be on a strict volunteer basis with a nice incentive program to keep them coming back. For every 20 hours of logged refereeing, you will receive a free game with everything provided. That is a $30 value!! We will be offering referee classes so that the refs know what to look for when they are in the heat of the game.



7. The proposed hours are from 1200-2000 on Saturday and Sunday. During the week, it will be open to private parties. Some such events include; office pt, security forces training, birthday parties, etc. Please not that in order to play, you MUST have an Outdoor Recreation Staff member present AND at least one referee. This is to provide not only a safe environment, but the referees will also be trained on how to fully disassemble the guns, clean them, and troubleshoot any issues that might arise.



8. Referees will have the final say on all matters regardless. They are volunteering their time to ensure that you have a good time. People mistakes, if one should happen, calmly move on to the next game. If a referee see’s you get hit and calls you out, you must leave the field and wait for next game. If you argue with the referee, you AND a teammate will be asked to leave the game. If you continue to make a scene outside the field, you will be asked to leave the establishment with no refund. Splatterhouse Paintball is a family environment as well as a competitive atmosphere. We are all adults, so we need to act like one when a problem arises. Most of the games will heavily depend on the Honor System. If you feel yourself get hit, call yourself out. This is rooted right in our very own core values we practice every day. Integrity first. Less problems will arise if we all use integrity on the field.

Lol, ight. yeah, i got the email from my mom (shes drug testing/prevention on base) and she was askin what i though. Everything looks legit, few things here and there, but it seems like a good start to get things moving.

So reballs only huh? And why only NPPL rules. Psp is the most common format across the globe, if you want to make competitive teams, train in that format

So? overall u would make more money. NPPL is 7man, and even if you ran it in a five man format, games will be slow. Run a 5man format, with psp rules= More paint being shot, more games played, more money!. yes you do shoot alot of paint in nppl, but how many new players would be able to shoot even 12 bps in semi auto? run psp 12.5 ramping = more paint bein shot
