i really cant wait until october 25th.... im gonna be so pissed off on the 10th when the beta ends. wtf am i supposed to do for 15 days?!

also i been thinking since they showed that SP campaign map..... any1 else want a nighttime multiplayer map?!?! i think thatd be pretty neat.

I am enjoying the beta very much but I'm not a huge fan of the map either. Like everyone else said it feels way too much like COD and not BF.

Stupid EA trying to make more money by using COD style map to bring in those poop players.

edit: oh and I will be donating a little bit towards the server and vent/ts. That will be cool to have the chat channel

shush. technically if DICE gave us the map in beta that people liked.... it would be Caspian Border we would be playing, not Metro. so dont blame any1 for not hating the world like u do.

I used to make maps for Rainbow 6 Raven Shield long long ago. I'm pretty sure that's why my grades were so terrible in high school. Learning how to use mod tools, etc, is really a satisfying feeling. Playing on a map you actually made is really cool. I was designing one of my house but I never finished it

A few notes:

I don't mind rank and everything resetting because it's easy to rank and the guns you start with work pretty well for me. The reasoning they give for it is retarded though. On the website it says something like "stats won't carry over because we don't want people with the beta to have an advantage over people who don't get the beta." But it's an open beta, anyone can join.

Flashlights/laser sights should be nerfed. They shouldn't blind people just illuminate/show a laser on the target for the user. Plus it's annoying as **** when a teammate turns around and blinds you, or comes around the corner and you think it's an enemy so you spray all over and give away your position.

For being a beta, this is pretty good. We haven't even got vehicle gameplay yet and I love the gameplay so far of Op Metro, sans the bugs/glitches of course.

VERY disappointed to see claymores are in the game. I ran into my first one yesterday, and some guy kept planting them next to the bomb. I'll have to start looking for them to see if you can run through them, set them off before going into the blast radius, or otherwise avoid them, but I'm really disappointed with this so far.

Also, couple of questions.

Why do they keep putting the F2000 in games? Anyone who has unlocked it yet, is the Abakan as overpowered as it was in BC2? Also I've heard rumors of a P90 being in this game. Is it truth or not?

I like the F2000, its my favorite AR. Ninja Mouse unlocked the AN-94 and said it rapes so...probably. The P90 is indeed in the game.

Lol Op Metro actually has pretty good balance. Just because it isn't a vehicle map doesn't mean it isn't good.

Eh they'd have to do it right. Nelson Bay was downright awful but seemed better in daylight on Onslaught. Conversely Valpo and Atacama desert were pretty cool as night and somewhat dark maps.

Flashlights and lasers don't concern me seeing as they will be mostly pointless on large, conquest maps. Unless you're clearing a building (which you could just blow the crap out of with a jet or tank), there's really no need for the flashlight.

I understand the flashlight blinding, but I'm concerned about the laser sighting mesing up your vision. A laser is a tiny *** dot, yet all you have to do is aim at a person's body to blind them with it. Doesn't make sense. It should have zero impact unless you're aiming straight on their head (even that isn't realistic, but I don't expect them to create hit boxes for just the eyes. Would be nice though

I had to laugh the other day when some guy was trying to snipe down the metro tunnel with a flashlight on his gun. I could see him from a mile away.
