tough to say without having you test it. Fill the system with air, submerge entire regulator underwater, post where the bubbles are coming from (example: bubbles coming from gauge threads, bubbles coming from the brass pin at the top of the regulator, bubbles coming from the fill nipple hole, etc). Once I know exactly where the leak is coming from, I can tell you exactly what to do to fix it.

Also, by the fill nipple, could you post the lot#? It will look like 2 digits - 2 digits - 2 or 3 letters (usually SBM or RB)

ok, that regulator is about a year old. I wonder if it just needs a quick relube job since you state its a new system.

Take her for a swim, let me know where the bubbles are coming from and we'll take care of ya.

Ok so bubbles are coming from the full nipple. Not the tip of the nipple. It's coming from where the connector meets the regulator

PERFECT! This is a very easy fix

Degas your bottle, remove fill nipple, remove all thread sealant tape on the threads of the fill nipple and inside the regulator body. Reapply thread sealant tape to the threads on your fill nipple and reinstall

While you have the fill nipple removed, pull our the rivet and oring on the rivet from behind, wipe down with a non-abrasive material, clean oring, and reinsert. Might as well do a little maintenance while you have the fill nipple removed.

I had to do the exact same thing with mine. And mine came with cracks in it too
