Q: I get FSDO even after getting my power core sprung & polished. How do I fix this?
A: Remove the Feather Touch screw if you haven't already and change out the bolt sail o-ring, third inner can o-ring, and back-cap inner o-ring with a tighter o-ring.

Q: I want to change out the power core o-rings but I don't know what sizes they are.

Q: My solenoid is leaking
A: Rebuild your regulator and check the piston for any damages. Replace the bolt sail oring and check the oring between the body and the frame. Make sure to check that the regulator pressure is not turned way up as i have seen some people ignoring that fact as well. The solenoid will most likely not be the problem.

Q:Can I use a Myth or a Myth G2 reg on my luxe?

A:You can but you have to use the drop rail. The gauge will hit the grip frame without it.


Q:My efficiency is horrible, how do I fix this?

A:Check and replace the second oring inside of the can. Buy an EFRod to up the efficiency.

Q:Why does only one of my luxe eyes light up red?

A:One eye emits the beam and the other receives it. When the ball breaks the beam the board then knows that something is in the breech and will let the gun fire.

Q: How do I reset my Luxe to factory default settings?
A: Pressing and holding the trigger for approximately 5 seconds while in programming mode will result in the Luxe resetting all menus to their factory default values. Factory Reset is confirmed by 3 chirps from the speaker. (Source: Luxe Owners Manual - Pg 19, section 4.4)

Q: What are some upgrades for my Luxe?

Q: My Luxe is leaking. How do I fix it?
A: Take a look at the Solving Basic Leaks thread. It has o-ring diagrams and a lot of useful information on Luxe leaks.

Q: What lube should I use on the Luxe?
A: Sl33k lube and Monkey Poo are highly recommended by Luxe owners. The Luxe only needs a small amount of lube, enough to make the o-rings look wet. Using too much, too thick, or the wrong kind of lube can cause problems with the Luxe (bolt stick/FSDO etc.)

Q: How do I remove/service the regulator?

Q: Why do I get bolt stick even after my FSD setting is up high?
A: It could be because you are not letting the time designated by the FSD timer setting pass by before you fire the gun again. Luxe programming says that FSD compensation only activates after the gun has been left powered on for the amount of time designated by the timer, NOT immediately after power up like other markers.

Q: How long will a battery charged to 100% last?

A: Results will vary but you should be able to get over 15 cases on a charge.

Q. I think I blew my solenoid, what do I do?
A. 90% you did not blow the noid. Parker noids are rated to vent at 220psi and can vent all the way with no backlash to 450psi(mine in my shocker went to 850). Simply rebuild the regulator, inspect the noid for blown gaskets and the manifold for blown out manifold orings.

Q:Should I use a HP, MP or LP tank?

A:The luxe can run on either HP or MP. Some testing has been done and some guns didnt run well below 450psi which can be called LP. The optimum pressure seems to be around 550psi.

Q:Whats the difference between luxe versions?

A:DLX introduced the screw on eye covers with the 1.5. They also removed the milling for the jewel above the reg on the body. The ON/OFF button was changed to a smoke color to resist chipping.

With the 2.0, DLX added a latch system onto the eye covers. They also upgraded the board with better connectors including the eye ribbon connector and the ability to connect a usb and make minor adjustments and download new software. The eyes were upgraded to a better more resilient material which is black. Lastly, the bolt was upgraded with a spring in the front of the bolt guide to help rid fsdo and the can is stock with cutouts for lower operating pressures.

Q: Will the 1.0 charger fit and work with the 2.0?

A: The luxe charger is compatible with all versions of the marker.



Q: Whats the difference in the cores in the 1.0, 1.5, and 2.0?

A: The 1.5 core added a lightened and hollowed can similar to the NDZ can but missing the 2 piece assembly. The hollowed can enable the luxe to run on a lower pressure and enables the user to get to the middle oring easier.

The 2.0 core added a spring to the tip of the bolt guide along with a matching bolt for use with the spring. There has also been some new bolts seen which have an oring on the tip.



Q: How is the 3 versions of luxes different?

A: The stock luxe 1.0 is a great platform. Thru the years they have changed slightly but not much. Mid run the 1.0 luxe began to come stock with the FT manifold starting around serial number 700 or so. Some of the 1.0 luxes also came stock with a maxflo.

The 1.5 added some milling and removed the luxe badge above the reg and on the rear of the bolt latch. The bolt was also slightly changed and all 1.5 luxes came stock with the FT manifold. There were also screws added to the eye covers to hold them in place. The power button cover was also changed from silver to a more opaque black.

The 2.0 added another bolt revision along with new, more robust eyes which have a black ribbon. The board was upgraded to be usb compatible and can be programmed via computer. The eye covers had a mechanical latch added for more security and quick removal without tools.

All parts are interchangeable between luxe versions except the eye covers on the. The 1.0 covers will work on all versions. The 1.5 will work on the 1.0 and 2.0. The 2.0 covers will only work on the 2.0 body.



Q: What thread is the barrel?

A: The barrel is Impulse threaded.

Q: What size are the conical screws used to hold the trigger in place?

A: 10/32x.025

Additional information. The screws that are underneath the barrel are the same size as these, they just dont have the conical shape.

I have been very successful using the settings from my Luxe 2.0 set by Pro Player Sam Monville of Houston Heat. I have three Luxe 2.0's from him and all are using mostly stock settings with the exception of the FSDO. I am running all stock settings using Monkey Poo with the exception of FSDO. Using Monkey Poo with a stock 2.0 core, all stock settings (Dwell 12.0) unless broken in (5 cases = dwell of 9), feather touch IN!, FSDO maxxed at 20, has worked flawlessly and have not had a single broken ball since I've owned the gun (5 cases), nor any FSDO. I just reduced the dwell to 9 and am consistent in velocity. All stock settings expect for FSDO at 20 with FT in and now dwell of 9. Smooth shooting and Draxus Gold paint with not one broken ball!
