I'd go glossy black. That way you're not being a poseur with fake carbon and flat black would just look bad.

I wasn't going to go with carbon fiber, I just threw it on there. Glossy black it is. Now, will 50" x 1' be plenty?

Not sure, never wrapped anything. Seems like it would, though. My friend had his wood trim painted gloss black and it came out fantastic, so I think the end result will be good.

Nice. I'll probably just order the 50" x 2', better to have more than to run out. Plus, it's cheaper to buy it at once than to have to buy two 50" x 1' sheets.

http://www.ssautochrome.com/level.itml/icOid/1895

Yeee, thinking I might order this within the next couple of days (the non-resonated one, for $425 + shipping). That way I'll still have plenty of spending money left over for wheels, coilovers, front bumper lip, a couple other little exterior/interior things I want to get to help "clean the car up a little bit." Hopefully I'll get to a standing point by the time winter hits, and then it'll be Stage 3 by the time spring hits

What octane rating is best for a stock 1.8T? I've searched the internets and of course got 50 different answers.

Can anything get damaged for using 89? I wasn't aware it needed premium (around me thats 91) otherwise I would have been using that.

detonation under high engine load. as long as it isn't horrible it's just gonna retard some timing add a little fuel.

So if nothings gone wrong yet and I switch over, no problems will arise in the future?

Yeah. I'll take a look. I don't want carbon fiber because it's tacky and overdone. A nice glossy black would be nice, though.

Good idea...

Is alcantera wrap inexpensive? This might actually be a good idea because I've been planning on switching from all black leather to a full black/white interior (minus the door handles). Hmmm

All I use. Turbos spool so much faster. Too bad I'm scared of driving hard on my turbos because I have a feeling that they're on their last legs

What's wrong with putting 93o in a 1.8T? It costs me $45-$50 to fill my S4 with 93o...I'm sure it costs you much less. Better performance > a couple dollars every two weeks.

K&N filter, yay or nay? Installed one the other day. Throttle response may have improved a tad. Stock filter looks extremely constrictive but I'm sure does a great job filtering.

Nothings wrong with that, I was unaware it was recommended to even use that gas, I would get 93 but 91 is all thats available in my immediate area.
