But I'll be hanging out on the modmyi forum again since I like modifying themes, making icons and carrier logos, and modding user mod widgets. I like to help out and share some of my mods... so I'll be installing SBsettings, winterboard, OpenSSH, iFile, gridlock, iconoclasm, no icon label, appinfo, and zeppelin.

ok so i think im going to reach a new low in my life

right now i own a Galaxy s3 (verizon) got it the day the black color for verizon was released (i have the black one) think it was back in october. anyway i like android and all but i think ive gotten so used to my 3g 4 and 4s that i kinda wish i didnt get the gs3 and got the 5. i didnt get the 5 at the time cause i really want a jailbreak. im used to tweaks like sbsettings and zephr and at the time i didnt see the iphone 5 or any devices getting jailbroken anytime soon. well after seeing the new jailbreak coming this weekend (hopefully) im kinda hate myself even more.

i dont have 300+ bucks to cancel my thing now (unless i front my self the money and then sell my phone on ebay (i can make 350 easy probably for it) but last time i did this, verizon stuck me with some sort of bull **** "equipment charge" on top of the $300 or so early termination fee and i dont have time for that ****.

i was thinking about "accidentally" breaking my phone (water damage) to get a replacement but play it off as the phone is acting up. like it keeps rebooting or whatever and that ive had nothign but issues with it and say i want to go back to an iphone like i had before. think it will work or will they just stick me with a replacement gs3 and say sorry you're out of luck


TL DR

miss having an iphone. plan on screwing up my gs3 to have them replace it with iphone. worth the trouble?

Find some one with a beater,very cheap, old verizon phone switch your number an sell the s3

like find an old unlocked phone?? activate that, then sell the 3GS? i thought if i do that, i would still have to hold onto my gs3? till the 2 year thing is up?

I'm still on my first contract with verizon (2yrs) I'm on my third phone

They will literally never give you an iPhone as a replacement, never. Sorry holmes, best they do is probably a One X or similar android phone after you return your 3rd or 5th S3

Wonder if my battery is not calibrated or something after updating to 6.1. I thought my battery was great, but 2 days... and it seems like will last week without a charge. I'm going keep it off the charger just to see if the battery indicator is giving me a false battery level. Anyone else seeing better battery efficiency after updating to 6.1?

Why didn't you ask your company if you can expense your current phone, so you can keep your unlimited data... or at least have them pay for your data only. Thats what I did... so I didn't have to carry 2 phones.
