Clarifying rumors and misinformation about the Angel Eyes Goggles that weren't made

So after I made this thread on PbNation telling people about the Angel Eyes, a friend asked me if I wanted to show off his actual pair of goggles. I hate making videos but I couldn't say "no" to that. So, here is a pair of 100% legitimate Angel Eyes.

They never came to market. All of the pictures you have seen (including the ones in this thread) are samples. Any "action" pictures you see are staged.

They never were produced. Not a single pair was sold. The only ones out there are the samples that were not destroyed and they should not be used to play paintball. I know of only one pair out in the wild.

Sites like ANS and Hustle paintball had them listed adding to the confusion. After I pointed out to Hustle this was misleading, they did change their description to make it clear.

Tippmann did not buy anything from Angel. That was a rumor started by another website that we debunked.

HK did not buy anything from Angel. HK is working on goggles but they have nothing to do with the Angel Eyes. Nothing.

And just because:

I only know of one set out in the wild that is owned by someone who did not work for WDP. His was a gift and it is not for sale at any price.

That's just silly. Of course telling people the right information will cut down on some of the uninformed silliness out there.

Apparently not. The Tippmann rumor came after and the HK rumor keeps coming up. Both are complete fabrications.

I'm not sure why people kept buying into those rumors. Maybe grasping at false hope.

I would've liked to believe that someone bought WDP. I still want a pair.

These should have been marketed to Movie companies... They would make great movie props.

APS could have stayed alive by selling these... I don't think movie props require ASTM

I think its too bad HK isn't working on Angel Eyes. I would also love a pair but I know that will never happen and my dreams are dead

Those look horrible. I understand people liking the concept of something different, but they don't look like they would hold up for long.

I would have loved to see these goggles come to the market. I was still into paintball when we saw them. They looked SICK!!! Would have totally bought them!

There are other people out there spreading/sharing videos (shall not be named) and we were so sick of anything and everything Angel Eyes... Had to put them up [on our site], post the disclaimer, spread knowledge... People still order them from us haha

I thought people on PbN knew that these goggles are not coming out until I saw people arguing about them today. I figured if people still didn't know, we'd make it even more obvious.

As much as I want a pair of these googles. Rumors are always just that, rumors.
Never count on anything until the OEM confirms or announces something about it.

Any spreading of BS like this is just that. BS!
