I just stumbled across this, so I hope you don't mind if I jump in...

I enlisted in '93 because I wasn't doing well at Penn State. I had to go somewhere and I wasn't going to be welcomed back there. I decided on military and my Dad was a Marine so I didn't even consider anything else.

I was a 2171 in Kaneohe Bay, HI via PISC for 3.5 years and loved every minute of it (even Okinawa). I've been out since '98 and not a day has passed that I haven't considered going back in. Every day we've been at war I've regretted not being over there to support my brothers, but it was time for me to stay home and support my family.

I hope Im not cracking too much ice for first joining up on the PBNation forum.

I enlisted in 2003 because I wanted to do my part for Iraq and Afganistan. I saw what the US Military was doing in Afganistan, and the soldiers ripping through Iraq... I wanted to do my part and join the fight.
I got sick and tired of being just like everyone else.

I wanted to stand out amongst everyone and become something (and someone) greater. I became a much better/improved person, stronger... There is nothing I can't accomplish. And my pride - my pride cannot be broken.

I've done my service in Iraq (Twice so far), I still have a trip to Afganistan I need to fulfill - and if I don't, its fine with me.

Even though I deployed and seen/done things I will never forget, I do not regret any of it.

I hope I didnt make anyone sick Hahaha I got real serious for a moment...

I absolutely love you. I got the weed part down, you think it will change anything?
