spent over 300 on beer at Russian River yesterday... and the starter for my SHO died when I left Bear Republic in Healdsburg. Push started it and then limped home. Drank Witkap Pater Tripel tonight which was pretty solid.

Could use some Long Trail offerings as well. What sorts of goodies should I be on the look out for for you? I'll try to grab as many fancy CO local brews as I can, but Russian River bottles come and go regularly too (Pliny less so obviously, but you get the idea) if you'd like.

Scooped 2 bottles of Stone Enjoy By IPA today, gonna get 2 more tomorrow if the GABF crowds haven't picked my packie to pieces yet. Bottled 5 days ago, pretty excited to let this one warm up a bit and get to drinking.

I drank Hoppin' Frog's Bodacious Oatmeal Russian Imperial Stout (BORIS) tonight. Pretty pleased, I'm planning to pick up some more of their stuff soon.

If any of you are fortunate enough to get Stone Enjoy By at your local store, GO BUY IT. Probably the best IPA effort from the Stone crew yet, truly a delicious IPA which sets quite a high water mark for other fresh/wet hopped IPA's. God DAMN.

they need to distro some to NorCal, they hit SoCal already but they haven't shown love to the other half of the state yet.

Weird that they hit CO and Chi before the northern part of their home state. Could also just be because it was GABF week and they decided to come out guns blazing.

it went out to NJ on the first release. It takes awhile for their stuff to get from SoCal to NorCal as well. Sometimes I haven't seen a beer on the shelves until a couple weeks after the release.

Drank Caldera Mogli last night. it's an 8.5% ABV imperial porter with cocoa nibs and aged on oak. It was very tasty with some nice chocolate and oak flavors without overwhelming the flavors from the base beer.

Picked up some Ska Mole Stout tonight. Slightly disapointed with it, has a lot of chocolate flavors, but kinda light on the spiciness.

Before I go too crazy buying bottles, how many would we be thinking about exchanging? Gonna revise my previous statement because I forgot how more more expensive shipping gets as the weight increases, 4-5 750's and 2-3 22/other odd sizes. Tried to nab a Pliny for you but the store sold out in 15 minutes between walk ins and reserves.

If ginger beer didn't need to be kept cold to keep from spoiling, I'd request some Ginger Libation. Darn.

that works, i was planning on sending 9 bottles varying btween 12-750. but i can scale that down. also give me a rough dollar estimate on what youre sending since some of the stuff you requested is pretty cheap(larry, fogbuster, etc) and ill make sure its as even as possible.

9 is a good amount with that range in size, that works for me. It's sitting around 70 right now for the 5 I have already, it'll probably end up being a little over a hundo once I can grab a few smaller bottles to round out the pack.

it's more about the amount of space than the weight. it's 25-35 to ship nine and my 12 bottle shipper only costs 40ish

I ship in 14 inch cubes most of the time and they're only about a dollar from wal mart. Target has some that seem to hold up better when you double stuff them but they cost close to five bucks a box.

Buddy called me yesterday and said he had a 15 gallon keg from the wedding reception he was at the night before, only down about three gallons.

I spent all day with him doing my part to make sure it didn't go back with beer in it.
