Bolt? Barrel Bore size? Type of paint? Shooting Hot? it could be a host of different reasons.

Check loader tension/speed, change out marker battery with a high quality battery such as Energy paintball, Duracell, Energizer, check to make sure eyes are intact and clean, check detents, make sure you are using proper sized bore for the paint you are using and make sure nothing is obstructing the paint in the breech. Also how is the weather where you are playing? Humidity can greatly effect the paint. Also make sure you are using quality paint. Cheaper paint isn't as consistent and if you get a balloned ball it can cause breaks.

The ego LPR is only adjustable by 20 psi. It's pretty hard to mess that up. Run your dwell at stock if your concerned about that. Stock/higher dwell will let you drop your hpr a bit which should be softer in paint.

Usually its the paint vs temperature/weather that causes breakage

I'm running stock dwell and 2 turns in on the LPR and haven't had any breaks in my EGO 10. Have you looked at your paint to bore match or checked your detents for wear?

I believe it should be 1 and a half turns in from flush if I'm correct and try using a larger bore in colder temperatures. Underboring isn't always the best way to go in cold temperatures.

When using your Ego10, you may wish to change the
output pressure of your LPR. This is easily done by inserting
a 1/8" inch hex key into the adjuster screw at the front
and adjusting it accordingly (See Figure 7.2). However
we recommend that the LPR screw be left set 2 turns in
(clockwise) from the screw being flush with the front of the
LPR cap.
By turning the adjuster screw clockwise, you decrease the
output pressure of your LPR and consequently reduce the
pressure driving your rammer back and forth. By turning
the adjuster screw counter clockwise, you increase the
output pressure of your LPR and consequently increase the
pressure driving your rammer back and forth.

Straight from the ego10 manual.

This is why I like that PE included a .693 bore on the stock Ego's before the 11. Most people buy an aftermarket barrel kit anyway so good to have a big bore for those extreme weather condition days!

Why would they include a barrel thats used only a few days a year. Your logic is poor.

Ha ya my logic is poor like a 15 year old girl..

You also have to remember that at the time of the older Ego's the paint was much larger then it has been recently.

Check your ball detents. Change your battery.

I was mainly referring to the 05/06 Egos, yes I know that they kept the stock bore at .693 until 2011, but I think people finally complained enough for them to change it. Also I remember one of the PE guys talking about the paint in the UK and that's why they kept it at the .693 bore. Also you're right, paint "dosnt scrink" that much in a year..

Well I'm not an E-thug so I'm not starting a fight either just proving my point. Honestly my point was that it was nice that you didn't have to spend extra money on a barrel you wouldn't only use during the summer/winter/ humid days as most people go ahead and buy an aftermarket kit or already have a barrel kit. I don't recall how long ago I remember reading it, but it was one of the PE guys/techs that was mentioning the size of paint in the UK. There has been small paint in the past but wasn't as common and was only certain brands.
