Do not get a Creative Zen Micro. They're crap. Out of the box, they are the best, but after less than a year I started to have problems. First it was the software, then it was the sound quality, then some sodering started to break and finally: no sound at all. I had to pay $60 to have the soddering re-done. My software still isn't back to normal.

Agreed.

I personally love Sandisks, but that's just me.

Get a Nano. After I got my Zune I wont be going back to Ipod's but if you're looking for cheap I'm sure you can find someones used NANO on Craigslist.com for around your range and they're pretty decent.

Digitard - I agree, but Zune's are like little bricks, but I like the customization of mine.

Luckily I dont really care so much on the brick aspect (I actually like it, feels sturdy to me).

I mainly wanted it because the insanely nice screen for its size (just a really great picture), the software in the Zune is very easy to navigate and work with, the wifi is cool to trade songs w/ friends at work to get them into stuff I listen to, and while the Zune software is a bit "heavy" on the PC itself I like how fast it transfers video.
