You can pick up misimoto rads pretty cheaply 200ish . or you can just go get a cheapie autozone rad for probibily under 100. only way to fix it.

Used ones are going for like 275/300 on NASIOC... New ones are in the low 300s I think.
As I said, I plan to get one I just wanted to find something to hold while I wait for that/shipping you know? I haven't driven it in a few weeks now.

Will do if the one we're trying doesn't work.

I had not, and did not know the site existed. I may have one soon for free + shipping which is the main reason I'd like to wait.
They have a decent price on an OEM one.

I've got an otc 2 channel I abuse the hell out of. If it's got wires and I think it's the problem I scope it.

yeah our verdict had the wireless multimeter which you could use as a 2ch scope, the extra 2 ch is rather handy though.

I'm buying one either way. Unless, of course, the fix actually fixes it but, even then, I want a good aluminum one.

Not sure what your exact car is, but here.

I'm sure they're top notch quality. To be fair though, I've had an ebay one in my van for 3 years and it's still working fine.

This. But if all you need is codes/basic generic data then there is plenty of stuff out there. But if actually plan on fixing/diagnosing cars then you will have to spend alot. we spent 10k on a verdict with all the bells and whistles and wireless multimeter. and it was garbage. 2 years later snapon realizes this and we traded it in for the verus pro for 2k. i think the verus pro is rather pricey with everything we have

I'm getting into air tools and I was wondering what brand(s) you guys recommend. I currently have a 20 gallon/5cfm@90psi compressor which works great for intermittent use and seeing all the different brands in stores and harbor freight makes me wonder what's quality and what's not.

Either a bad sending unit or you need a new cluster/ reprogramming. Either way you are
Going to need to take it to a dealer.
If they tell you that you need a new cluster, you could save se money by buying one used and bringing it to them and have them install and program it.
