yes. the PM QEV is 10-32 thread and so are those QEVs. you don't need a QEV, a regular 10-32 threaded barb will work and will be cheaper. but if you want a QEV, those will work.

You need to have a barb that accepts 3/32 ID hose.

What ROF should i expect without using the qev? I only ask because this gun is mainly used in semi mode. It wont run at capped ramp due to it not being our tournament gun anymore.

I like to fly on the trigger

edit: I dont think the qev is to blame though, why is it even getting air flow when the ram is in the rest position? to me, air is pushing the ram back (like it should) but some of the air is bypassing the rammer oring and getting to the qev.

okay so i tried something different. I put a "spacer" between the rammer and the ram cap.. it fixed the problem.

without the spacer, the ram is able to sit far back enough to where LP air gets past the rammer oring. Put the spacer in and the ram gets forced froward just enough to prevent the leakage. The gun fires just fine.

The spacer is an Alien jewel that fell off my Indepedence's ASA!

ok then. good to hear it was a simple fix.

the QEV would or should help at the higher +15bps levels, but realistically, i don't think it really helps. to a point, the most of big names in PB removed the QEVs on their guns(like the Ego) instead of retaining them. the regs being more consistent, that will not starve the gun at the higher RoF will help or even be better than the QEV.

okay good to know. I shot the gun a few moments ago and it seemed good to go. I need to get the eyes fixed, one of the wires is cut and some of the wires are exposed from being pinched

That depends on what route you go with it.

This is his listing over at ICDO. You might check out the super-saver option, which is normally what I go with. If the eyes, connector, etc. are still good, he reuses them with thicker wire.

You should probably PM him before this gets labeled as a BST post in the wrong section.

Do you have a strap wrench? You can use the strap wrench or wrap the strap wrench rubber strap around the LPR and use channel locks to pinch it.

you have to unscrew the base. a strap wrench will work, if you have strong fingers, that works as well. i do wish someone would make a tool to help remove the reg base.

i recently got some gloves for yardwork that happen to work great for this stuff, they are the cheap knit gloves that are dipped in silicone or something, so they have that tacky rubber grip on the palms and finger tips, just put it on grab the LPR or other part and twist. I think they were like $3-5
