I have never participated in a scenario event but if I was able to win and make this my first scenario event ever, that would be a hell of a story for the future

I know people are getting ot and everyone has said hydration. But my advice would be to obtain a Camelpak. Whether it be borrow it our buy it from a friend. You could slip it under your jersey, or outside. I've never heard of one breaking from getting shot. Then just have the line run to your mouth and you'll never dehydrate.

This might seem obvious, but if you have spent most of the hot summer inside and not being active... start getting into cardio-vascualr shape. Nothing sucks more than on big charges/pushes to be the last one up the hill!

If you were down there for only one day would it be worth it? Or is it something that you want to be there for the whole weekend for if possible? I mean I'd love to do the whole weekend, but is it still worth it for one day if that's all you can muster/afford?

Don't shoot too much paint in the beginning of the day, things get crazy in the afternoon's. Use every opportunity to top up on paint and air.
One of the worst things you can do is wait for an opportunity to make a move. I've seen too many people sit at the back, hoping things would slow down enough to safely move up. Don't be afraid to get into the fray, you might find it to be...addictive :/

I want to say that if this is your first game, do the whole weekend. Right now, the pre-reg price is best because by the time game day rolls around, you will be paying so much more!

However, if you only go for one day, specifically play only Saturday, you will miss out on the big raffle that takes place end of game on Sunday From what I recall on the playing schedule, you will have more time to play on Sat, but the raffle is on Sunday lol

Based on my experience in past Decays, the firefights have always been intense and constant with so many players on the field.

I've wore one for several scenerio's and so has my son, we have never had an issue with them. I have a RAP4 vest and it has a hydration pocket inside the vest. And has been stated before, but, can not be stressed enough. DO NOT ARGUE with the Ref's. you can always take a complaint to command and calmly and clearly explain the why and where fores. This will take you farther than arguing.

The worst thing that can happen is take a hit. But, if you are afraid of that, find a different sport.

Stay inside the boundaries of the field. I "accidentally" walked off the boundaries and was literally up to my knees in dairy waste runoff. lost a pair of shoes that year... lol

Bring a compass just in case. It is easy to get loss on those fields if you wander too far. It has happened to me, LOL.
