Amateur Speedball Tournament! Cash and equipment Prizes!
Hey guys, Mansion House Farms Paintball has decided to put together an amateur Speedball Tournament on Saturday May 19th. It will be a 5 man tournament, with a max of 7 people allowed on your roster. Entry fee per team is $125, so if you have 5 people it's $25 per person. You must sign up and pay the entry fee no later than one week before the date of the tournament in full! When your captain signs your team up, he/she needs to put down a team name, amount of players on roster, entry fee in the form of cash, check or card, and a phone number. We need a minimum of 8 teams, but a maximum of 16 teams. It will be a round robin format in the morning from about 9 to 12, then turn into single elimination, and the 2 final teams play a best out of 3 for 1st place. 1st place prize: $625 in cash. 2nd place: V-max hoppers. 3rd place: A case of paint for each player. For further details, add us on facebook at http://www.facebook.com/#!/profile.p...00001739163313. Hope to see everyone out there! http://www.mansionhousepaintball.com/

Sorry, that's just the date we had been planning for for this event! Didn't realize the scenario was on the same date!

Don't worry about OXCC scenario, they only cater to staff and home teams and not the general public, the next scenario is held by Team Delta and they are massive wipers, if you go to their site, you'll see that almost 90% of pix are of staff, friends and home teams, plus, this is for speedball, not scenario. Thank you mansion house for giving paintballers another option besides OXCC, my team (all 12)will be there, and we hope we have a new home for paintball.

Oh okay. Yea we are a very small field in comparison to them. Our speedball field is relatively new. They are not regulation bunkers, it's really just a rec field. We cater to beginners, but we also have experienced people. It's just an amateur tournament, so if you're part of a team the requirements are that you have to be together for no longer than 2 years playing. We don't want any sandbagging

I'm very sorry you feel that way. I was once an outsider at OXCC an feel as though I was treated very warmly upon my first arrival. However I am also a scenario/woodsball player. I have ref'ed speed ball/hyperpipe a few times and what I can say is that OXCC does seem to cater to complete teams rather than single player (speedball) walk ons and small non team (speed ball) groups. With that being said though, many teams are always looking for a player or 2 when practicing and are very nice about grabbing the walkons and small groups to fill out a roster for the day.
I am glad that you found a place like mansion house that your team can feel welcome too. But I also invite you to come out and play at OXCC again. Especially seeing how they have the Mapl tournament coming up and lots of great prizes to give away. Hey, maybe you can even represent Mansion house at these events.

To eliminate confusion, we are making this unranked teams and amateurs only. This is not an event where you can get points for on your APPA card. It's just for fun

I have no problem with how OXCC runs their speedball tourneys or practice, it's actually very organized, and the refs rule (personality wise and rules), we have played in a few tourneys there as well, it's the scenarios that we are referring to, the photographer only seems interested (or directed) in pix of OXCC staff, management and Ricks followers, ie.. knight stalkers, team delta and reps he wants to impress) the general public makes the $$ and I think that is overlooked to feed either ego or some other factor, many scenario walk ons and teams have voiced this concern from the past two scenarios and as stated before, the proof is in the pix from both scenarios. We love Whitey, Gizmo, Gerren(you) and all the refs, but feel that the customer is always right and if that is neglected, so will the chances of OXCC building their business on our end and other players as well, that's the nature of business, I'm sure he doesn't care, but when word travels back and forth, eventually, it will affect the proprietor financially.

The signup sheet for the tournament is at the field! To sign up, have someone come in from your team to pay the full amount of entry ($125) in cash, check, or card!

3 weeks left to register your team for the Amateur Speedball Tournament! Just show up to Mansion House Farm Paintball, fill out roster information, and pay the $125 entry fee for your team and your team is set! If you can't come in to sign up, you can send a check to 310 Meadow Glen Drive Bear, Delaware 19701

5 I believe. And not right now, but I can check for you this weekend! It is an amateur tournament, so anyone can play in it, so you probably have not heard of most of the team names. we are allowing d4/d5 teams that have under 300 points on their APPA but this is not an APPA tourney it is just for fun
