We can sit here and blame everyone for the downfall of NPPL & XPSL. I dont know what happened or who caused it; what im concerned with is what most teams are going through right now. What do we 7 man teams do.

Im not going to say 7-man is better than PSP but the styles are some what different and some teams are just built to play one better than the other.
Sadly for my team we are built for 7-man. I sit here thinking what do we do next, of course we are not going to throw in the towel but for a lot of team ( mine included ) we find ourselves having to struggle to look for good quality tournaments. 2009 looked very good for me and my guys but with this upcoming news things have gotten much worse. Think about the teams who now all of a sudden find themselves without sponsors cuz they have no league to play in ( mine being one of them ).

My hope is that someone who can do somethign does for the sake of the many 7-man teams out there who just had their hopes and dreams crushed this week. Im just as upset, angry as the next guy but what we need to do now is pull together and see what we can get going.

Brandon we appreciate you giving the players and teams out there some information about NPPL's demise.

For the rest of the teams out there suffering like mine, we are right there with you guys and hope that you all pull through just as we are going to try to

Wow. To say that Shawn Walker actually, literally, stole money from the company is a huge accusation. Is there any way that this can be confirmed Brandon? I sincerely hope charges are brought against him for this if its true.

If Shawn stole, then hopefully Bruce & co. will file charges and he will be prosecuted properly. If that happens then news of it will undoubtedly make the rounds and everyone will know what type of person Shawn really is. Until that happens, it's all conjecture and completely pointless.

If Mr Lambertson had not said what he did we would have no problems. But i take issue when someone comes in here and drags the name of a good friend in the mud.

Imagine for a second if the same thing happened to one of our good friends that we chat with all the time in our area. you bet your sweet butt (and it is sweet) i will stand up and defend them with as much passion and or obsession as i am doing now, if i knew that the accusations against them where false.

i am sorry that people might think i am obsessing over this. I call it loyalty and friendship. This is what friends do. I would expect any of my guys that i play paintball with every sunday to do the same for me. If i am guilty of anything, i will be the first one to come on here and say i messed up.

I wear my heart on my sleeve. Its the only way i know how to live. Ride or die. Much like i play paintball. But one thing is for sure, when i make a friend, i make a friend for life, and unless they threaten my family or steal from me, i will always work to keep that friendship working. That is how i am and always will be. That is how i forge relationships.

Ask AKA, ask Macdev, ask bonebrake. They know i will be the first one to step up and wade through the BS and get the truth out. More people will come forward and justify what i am saying. One already did.

I have nothing to gain by sticking my neck out for Shawn, other than my friendship and respect. But i will gladly do that for him so people will know that he gave it all he had to bring paintball into the main stream.

Nppl could have been so great now if they didn't ruin it. they just got to far ahead of themselves, and now no one benefits.

Some will have to agree to disagree with the damage done. A cold fact to wake up to in the world of paintball in the wake of the new NPPL Championship game that has people curiosity qued about what actually happens on the field.

With 2008 coming to a close, obviously the writing of some of you that have spoken here are not your average teens on the nation and to this I respectfully write:

We all see a problem, we see the aftermath the ugliness that the younger guys have to witness.

So we now see our problem, but those of you who are speaking I'm not seeing a solution.

And that Right Now is what we need more than anything, a Solution not a finger to point. Some of you are in a position to be heard, to speak from experience and hear the voices of what the players want..Again we need solution. I made of fun of the barrak obama campaign and its motto of change however truth is...Change was needed and little did I realize how emminent it was here in our world of paintball.

yeah like the little kid on the new DER DER progression short bus lmao... anyway my response is.. PSP might at 7 man but it will be 13.3 (gay)...i personally hate ramp.. cant stand it makes the game 2 easy, and sideline coaching WTF is that man someone should not be able to say "hes coming for you" take it like a man... actually have to use skill and not say aww lost cause im an idiot its only one point. Im just mad cause now i have to play PSP style to hit big tournys now thats what ya gotta do... So since Mr. Walker F'd us all it kinda makes me and im sure a lot of ppl think about taking time away from PB= Not good for the sport.. I knew that Nppl and PSP would never merge, but really for a sport to get big there only can be 1 major league, hense NFL, NHL, MLB, if thre were ever 2 leagues for other sports they merged together and hense got bigger, but it may be for the best, jus sucks it was Nppl and not PSP ( GAY RAMP AND COACHING)

I know he is your friend but wow, groups of friends and I have been screwed over by a friend I had in the past before, does that mean since I was friends with him and it never APPEARED that he did anything wrong I should go and argue with a lot of facts against him. no. And if you do think he is innocent, go talk to him personally, or let him handle HIS OWN PROBLEMS. obviously he doesn't care that much what people are saying because he is not stepping in. Look at the NFL, it was once 2 seperate leagues. They merged and its the new Americas Pastime. Baseball fans I know your going to argue with me but it is true and its a fact. Football is americas new pastime.

Is this good or bad? I can see that loosing one of the biggest leagues in the world is not something celebrating, because this could be the beginning of a downward hill for Paintball. We were barely starting to grow, and now with the economy is difficult to sustain a sport much less make it profitable. OR I can see a brighter future with a league that listens to its players and its audience. I will hope that PSP picks up some of the sponsors, business, and perhaps some of the Ideas to host to a broader audience. It could also unify the players to one single official format to which we could maybe one day take to the Olympics.What do you think?

The thought of there being no more paintball brings tears to my eyes, WE as a community, as a family, as addicts, all have to fight through this TOGETHER. paintball started with an 8 shot pistol in the woods, and if need be i would go back to that to save the sport, and all its enthuiests. Thats what i was saying everything had 2 leagues mergerd and became stronger the NPPL and PSP should ahve done that... but now that PSP is the only league with past sports it should grow, yes the economy sucks but... i still am out drilling and scrim. every weekend i might take a week off 1 ever 2 months or so but ppl, well the true player is still out there every weekend fighting and battling if anything PSP might have to lower the register fee, and yes tehy need sponsors i elieve from what i see that the owner of PSP ( cant rem. his name) has a good head and wants PB bigger, better for us and more money for him haha, but who knows maybe Bob Long will buy NPPL lol

So we are hearing from a secondary source. However, the only thing i have been saying all along is that unless you have solid indesputable evidence that there was wrong doing, don't post hearsay and libel. Thats all. If he is guilty let the courts decide. Until then he is innocent in my book and by lay in the eyes of the US legal system (innocent till proven guilty). I am not here to play he said she said, i am just here to voice my displeasure at the way thing where presented in this thread.

If there is no evidence of wrong doing, don't post rumors.

Whoa whoa whoa........he heard it from me who witnessed what was going on. I never heard it from someone else...that is a flat out lie. I saw what happened...you cant dispute that. Justify it all you want in your own way. Truth is it happened whether you want to believe or not. Your source is Shawns friend. Nothing more i need to say about that
